Fingers crossed for this - loved the first series but second was a bit meh I thought.

Don't know about anyone else but I reckon this was a good return to form.

Found Hopper really fucking moany/shouty this Series.

But when I

watched his heartfelt letter getting spoken out at the end (thinking he had sacrificed himself for everyone), well let's just say I felt shit, and remembered instantly why he was my favourite character in the programme.

He is the shows ultimate Hero, really. No super powers, no premonitions, no vested interest or biological family in danger.

Just a broken man, who drinks too much, smokes too much and eats too much, who is fucked off with everything but, regardless is trying to do the right thing till the end.

His love for El in that letter is very touching.

P.s very glad that wee scene at the end in Russia hints that he is still alive. He might just get his date with Joyce yet.
