Jim McLean tribute group
Fully support the concept of building a statue for the single greatest person in our clubs history but really think they need to reconsider the t shirt that is being advertised. I'm guessing (and I could be wrong) the 4 Jim McLeans is meant to be an Andy Warhol pop art rip? Imo it doesn't really work.
Not slagging the intention as they've put in a lot of effort to fundraising but if you want a good number of people to buy a t shirt, it's got to 'work'
Off the top of my head, if they want to get black prints on Orange t shirts, try to photo of him pointing out the dugout, with the background cut out or the champions photo with him being held aloft by the players. Simple and not overly fussy.
If they want it to appeal to a younger audience, stick a hashtag underneath any picture. #Legend, #History Maker, #Mr Dundee United, #JYM. Not sure there's a need to advertise the group either.
Hopefully this is seen as a positive. I lack Photoshop skills but am happy to give ideas to make the statue happen
If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

Hope the statue isn't an effort that splits opinion. So important we get that right.
I've a couple of JYM images that spring to mind but hope others can add to this...
Understand this ain seems aggressive but was he not? Sums up a lot and in his time. 
Hard to cut him out or slice others out. Statue of all would cost so much mair but would be fkn brilliant.

I don't want to knock the boys who are trying their best to whip up some money, but holy fuck who signed that t-shirt off as a goer?
I know it's for a great cause but would you really put that on your or any of your families backs?
I assume they have an agreed design, so why don't they stick that on a t-shirt, take the shape and make a pin badge, put a photae on button badges,pens, keyrings, print it on mugs or even make miniature replicas,get thon lassie that does the painting to do prints, the list is endless, we don't need to wait for a big reveal on the day, make the money now that will implement this great idea.
And please don't print too many o' them shirts.
I don't know a lot, but I know what I like!

If you 'sliced' out the players from the Dens pic the statue would look like Jym was doing a jobby.

Its a charity T-Shirt i will buy one and like all charity tshirts never wear the fucker. Ok its doesnt work on tangerine but isnt as bad as some suggesting. But that could easily be my lack of taste and dress sense. Personally i think a tight one will go well with my leather troosers
