Re: Jordan Moore

Head of youth recruitment...
What experience does Jordan have in this position?

Surely we should be looking at someone with much more experience in this sort of thing?

Re: Jordan Moore

It's all getting a bit 'jobs for the boys' now.

We seem to be just making up roles now and they're getting handed out to various people in the circles Asghar moves in.

That's not a dig at Jordan Moore btw, but as someone else above says 'what's his experience?'.

Surely you give that role to someone who has been scouting young players for years (like a Graeme Liveston for example).

I might be wrong for it's an initiative I'm particularly against, but might appointing a 'Head of Youth Recruitment' be a requirement to attain Elite status within the SFA's Project Brave'?

And will such a role be concerned with scouting? I don't actually know what the job description may be as far as the SFA is concerned, but might the post holder be tasked with welfare and care of youth players rather than seeking out of new talent?

As I say the above is guesswork, and I've a feeling either the SFA or United have probably given the wrong job title to the position, which may bring about confusion.

As far as Jordan being part of Jackie McNamara's agency is concerned, Jackie was Jordan's manager for a time and for all he may be despised for his part in our downfall, he may see something in Jordan's life to date which benefits his working with and caring for young players.

Re: Jordan Moore

PS, looked up to see what is required for Elite status, which is United's target by 2020.

Here are six key positions which we need to fill:-

Head of Academy, Head of Youth, Head of Children, Head of Player Recruitment, Head of Academy Football Science and Medicine and Head of Academy Performance Analysis.

Is Jordan Moore set to be 'Youth' or 'Player Recruitment' head?

Fair post.

Pity we hadn't arranged the Q+A for this week.

Been a lot happening at Tannadice in the past few days.
