Only if he sees it in TV. 😃
Play_off's it is. Depressing stuff.
Even they are far from guaranteed as things stand.
Dunfermline have found form as of late. If ICT and them can both keep getting points and we are dropping then god knows what can happen.
This season still has a few twists in it yet and not just for us.

Looking at the table if Dunfermline were to beat us next week (fucking please no), then they are only 3 behind us.
We need to get a fucking grip.

Yip said that to a few people today. Taking 1 point from 2 away games to Falkirk and Partick Thistle when we were in a very good position is totally unacceptable imo.
I fully expect us to be 3rd come 5pm Saturday with Dunfermline 3 points behind us and Inverness 4 behind us unless Neilson grows some fucking balls before Saturday.

Just watching the goals on arabzone just now.
Clark decent free kick goal.
Thistles first we are attacking shite cross from McMullan thistle clear and Butcher fucks it in the middle of the park cross in cleared 2nd ball in Reynolds doesnt even attempt to try and head the ball and McDonald heads it in. Very poor.
Their 2nd.. Robson should have done much better and even took the player out totally caught out.

Interested in seeing the goal at the end again, as at the time I couldn't see where our two centre halves had gone.
The matches they've played since signing, the pair aren't an upgrade on what we already have (had in the case of Edge), apart from they shout and point much more. Which is something, I suppose.
It's just an opinion, and I'd be interested to read what others think of them. Bouhenna offers some poise and is a better footballer, but a bit soft at times. Frans is cumbersome, but solid. Watson steady although stecky, but offers a goal threat.
As I say, an opinion, but the pairing aren't the solid centre backs I'd hoped for. They are good at passing the ball to each other, right enough.

A tad harsh Founder.
You're right, Bouhenna and Frans weren't our biggest albatross but can only think the Two Marks are an upgrade.
Put it this way, if we were to become a Prem side I think they could live there.
Mind you, both were posted missing on 90 mins y'day, had they gone home?

I thought Connolly looked slow yesterday.

I liked Connolly at start good attitude but last 2 games he has been the worst player on the park. Utterly honking and slow and unable to get 2 inches in air when jumping. Other than maybe Fyvie v ICT.

Same mistakes two weeks on trot, got to keep going right to final whistle, sleeping and cost us badly both games.

Out of interest, who are our biggest albatross? Haha
I'm beginning to think fitness lies at the bottom of this.
A lot of the new players and some of the pre-jan ones have had long term injuries/absences.
Are they bring treated with kid gloves in training - could explain lapses in concentration at 90mins and would explain Fyvies recent appearances on the park - if their not training with the correct intensity players will look ok until that have to play in a real game.
It'd really show in 'big' games like the cup game/televised games with other sides upping things a bit...
Doesn't bode well for the run in...or the play offs....

I was in the Thistle board room/directors box on Saturday. Quite clear that Brannigan and Ashgar don't really speak to the 'old' directors and vice versa. If we are split at board level then we are truly f***ed.
There was a bad atmosphere not helped by the very poor performance on the park.
On the other hand the Thistle board and management seem totally aligned and gave the impression of a proper community spirited club.
If Mr Ogren wants success he's going to have to knock some heads together at board room level. Not convinced that 'his men' have the club at heart, but happy to be proven wrong.

Interesting observation: two weeks previously I was in the Falkirk boardroom, but didn't think much of the lack of interaction at the time. In fact I felt that all the directors and folk associated with the club appeared awkward in their situation.
Spoke with most of the folk on our side, and have to say Mr Dorward and Mr Stewart didn't seem to have much energy/enthusiasm about them. Mal Brannigan appeared to be most social, speaking to all groups, attempting to circulate.

Awkwardness was the word. There were two clearly separate groups, the old guard and the new guard. Brannigan, to be fair, did attempt to circulate. I specifically didn't let on that my brother and I were United fans.
I'm suspecting further board changes. I'm hoping that Mr Ogren is confident in the people he has brought in. I am not convinced.

First goal: Keeper Stuck to his line. McDonald headers the ball on the 6 yard line, beating 2 6 ft defenders and a 6ft 5 keeper - how can that happen?
Siegreist, not for the first time this season, doesn't command his 6 yard area. He's forcing the centre backs to head everything

1st goal is clearly the keepers ball imo, a floated ball into the six yard box should be meat and drink for any decent keeper.
2nd goal is all Jamie Robsons, he should have realised the threat when the guy went past him and took a yellow card.

That's the way I saw both. 1st one v similar to ICTs winner. Both wouldn't have been scored if we had a dominating keeper.

Not good to hear. I get the impression that Ogren has effectively delegated the task of running the club to Asghar. He plainly has faith in him. Asghar was given the task by Mike Martin of finding a buyer for the club. He did that successfully. What I would really like to know is: Did Mark Ogren propose the idea of Sporting Director or did Asghar?
I really wish I had faith in this new set up, but, it just seems to me, one big experiment.

My impression is that Ogren will need to get more hands on at some point to sort what appears to be division on the ground. From a very fleeting view of the directors in action it seems to me there is no accord and I'm not convinced that Ashgar is the person to pull it all together. Brannigan may be different.
I do hope the rumours about disharmony are untrue.
I'm sure they are, remember the new regime is still brand new compared to other clubs whose boardrooms don't change in an age.
