I'm sure I Listened to the whole match, but can't recall any apologies or even a mention as to why arabzone members had to go to you tube to hear the match, Rice's arrogance is limitless.

Sow or Neilson 🤔

bottle bag heartless bastards every one of them and the manager.
Neilson is 100% to blame for this. Why the fuck did Osman Sow start today after missing out completely last week with an injury not training properly has looked nowhere near fit in the few appearances he has made for us since signing and he starts him today for him to last 20 minutes before having to come off with an injury. Now im not blaming that one decision on todays result as we all know its not the case however Neilson picks that line up and he tells them what to do tactic wise etc and got it wrong as fuck once again.

I noticed Robbie stayed away from the touchline for much of the match: never even spotted him in the second half. It seems, though, he was sent off at half time.
It's maybe getting to the stage where I'd not be too bothered if he was told to stay away from the touchline permanently. I wonder if he's being marginalised within the club, and that has had an effect on the efforts of the players?
However, the players selected should display professional pride, and that was sadly lacking today, and in many other matches.

You not only have had a change in ownership, but, also a change in coaching staff personnel and a change in reporting structure. Do we really think all this can happen seamlessly without affecting the team? FWIW I think Neilson is the right manager, but, who does he report to?

Tbf that's my only way of seeing the matches too.
But from what I've seen even since January's window we dont have a team that can play. Sad but thats how it looks. Something far wrong.

So your team is losing 1-0 at half time.
You're raging inside that it's going wrong.
Maybe an email you had is playing on your mind. Maybe words you've had with a player (Sow??) in the last couple of weeks is fucking you up inside. Maybe something somebody on the management team has said is playing on your mind.
Maybe some first half decisions have gone against you.
You have 15 minutes to remotivate the team. You need to get them lifted for a 2 goal second half.
But somewhere, somehow, you get in the referees face and get sent to the stand.
Maybe it wouldn't have changed the result, we'll never know, but getting yourself sent off at half time is stupid and unprofessional.

That ref allowing a very gobby Scott MacDonald to get away with trying to ref the game, conning the ref, gobbing off at the ref for a full minute or 2 at one point, diving for free kicks and avoiding bookings and getting free kicks like he never fae refs whilst playing for us. That ref had a few bad decisions in the 1st half that involved him and others like the blatent hand ball near the 18 yard line. Robbie is saying he was sent to the stand for saying something he didn't say. The penalty claim looked solid at a distance. Keen to see the footage.

Was nothing obvious. Right knee issue by the look of his walk coming off.
He just sat down seeming like he knew he was injured.
I missed it if he was kicked.

I'm worried we will never see the best of Sow due to fitness problems.
Ogren has spent money bringing in an impressive number of players but worry that the money invested in Sow isn't going to work out.
Like Connolly but he's struggled last 2 games albeit with fuckall help fae refs letting folk foul him. Today he let the ball bounce instead of attack it too many times and got intae trouble.
Teams now know refs don't help us and our style is predictable.
The mix of this is fucking us up time & time again.
Stanton really changed the game when he came on. Siegrist's good saves only helped level out his bad kicking and his pish effort at the 1st goal.
A day to forget. Tactics need to change. Getting more like what saw the last manager punted for as well as the one before.
Don't want Robbie to go at all but we need to be very different in many ways.

I thought he was doing ok today, but it may be he is just carrying fragile knees. Specifically, the incident where he either was injured or aggravated his injury involved a wee tussle with Steven Anderson on the touchline, where the pair tangled and Sow gave Anderson a wee shove over the line. OS was walking gingerly when he got up, and seconds later was sitting down in the Thistle box.

Hopefully nothing too serious. Like ive said earlier i dont think he should have been anywhere near the starting line up today on previous games so far for us.

I did like the line-up when I seen it, yes (from the Main Stand of Firhill...B+T).
I was excited to see, 6 weeks after signing him what Osman Sow could bring to the table, as we've been so powderpuff upfront of late. Unfortunately, well....you know the rest.
Siegrest - 6/10 - I thought he was generally ok today. He made a great save when a Thistle player was played one-on-one from a short back-pass from Connolly (I think), when he smothered the shot onto the post. Though I felt he 'froze' a bit at their first goal, when I felt he should have just wiped their player out.
Robson - 6/10 - Generally 'ok', but he sold the jerseys in the last minute letting their player cut across him to square the ball for their winner. A more experienced player would have known to get the tackle in miles away from our box. He has a lot to learn.
Reynolds - 6/10 - I thought he was pretty poor today.
Connolly - 5/10 - Could hear him the full game trying to lead the team on. But he personally, had a bit of a mare.
Seaman - 6?10 - I like the kid. He tries to get forward. He's not a great defender though and gets caught out of position at times.
Butcher - 5/10 - I was in favour of him coming back, as I was in the minority who rated him first time round. He was absolutely louping today though.
Harkes - 6/10 - Intelligent player who I see promise in. He isn't going to blossom in this current side though.
McMullan - 5/10 - Can't cross a ball.
Nesbitt - 6/10 - Started quite well, but faded in the 2nd half. Another who seemingly can't cross a decent ball, sadly.
Clark - 6/10 - Scored a terrific free-kick. Absolutely superb. But also missed not one but two gilt-edged chances in the first half from very short range.
Sow - 1/10 Early doors (and I mean the first 5 minutes) looked good and was laying off nice flick on's for Clark (with his chest) etc. I'll tell you what though, in my opinion he couldn't wait to get off that pitch. Now i'm not sure what he went down with exactly as I never even seen a collision. But the minute the physio came on he seemed to have decided he had chucked it. No signal to the bench that he wanted 5 minutes to run it off. Got off the pitch asap. Walked off. I don't know what the story is with Sow, but I have a gut feeling he won't start for us again.
Subs -
Safranko - 6/10 My comments on Pavol seemed to have whipped up a hornets nest over the past 2 days. But despite that I was really willing him to prove me wrong today. But, i'm sorry , I still just don't quite get what you guys seem to see in him. He works hard, yes. How many headers did he win against their CH's? Very few. Albeit, I think his chopped off goal at the very death looked very borderline. But the game passed him by, for the most part, sadly.
Stanton - 7/10 - By far our best player in his 20/25 minute cameo. Drove the team forward and played one or two really nice passes. Unfortunately he missed a double chance to put us 1-2 in the lead when the goal was gaping. Still not sure how he never just put his laces through it.
Smith - 6/10 - Gave us a good injection of energy. Unfortunately he also missed a good chance when it looked a good goal scoring chance.
The referee was very poor for us today. I'm not one to normally lay the blame on the officials but we were turned down a stonewall penalty today imo. I also feel McDonald should have been booked for diving (unpunished) and Safranko's chopped off scrambled toe-poke at the end looked borderline to me (albeit I was quite a bit away). They also kept everyone waiting for the 2nd half to start for nearly 5 minutes. WTF was all that about?
Play_off's it is. Depressing stuff.
