Re: Falkirk Away 23/2

Don't think I've ever heard one of our fans referring to us as "Dundee United" as in I bet you Dundee United wont get promoted.
Bizarre stuff

Robbie talks about squad rotation. He has a good enough reason to rotate the goalie. No sure how good Laidlaw is and Siegrist has been OK lately but we want what's best.

Think you might get what you want SM. I thought fae a distance he should have done better. Seeing it again, definately.

Re: Falkirk Away 23/2

At the game I thought Benji should have claimed it, and seeing it there again................. at edge of six yard box, almost worse than the goal lost at Alloa. Connolly wasn't happy at him.

Re: Falkirk Away 23/2

He’s done that mistake far to often, if your coming out to claim a ball, fucking claim if that means smashing there player smash them and get hurt yourself, I gave him the benefit of doubt last few weeks but not now, change needed

I meant it as in that's what you'd write on a betting slip. We'll be eight behind County soon enough and have showed enough times this season we bottle big games. The play offs are 4/6 big games. Might be negative but can't see any other outcome than failure in the play offs. Hope I'm very wrong.

It's not where you're from it's where you're at.

Re: Falkirk Away 23/2

I'm going to try and spin a bit of realism into this.

Before the game yesterday, we had to win 3 more games than Ross County to win the league.  This morning, we still have to win 3 more games than Ross County to win the league.

Yes, it was a kick in the teeth yesterday, but we are not any worse off.

And we play them twice! Yesterday was probably a knee jerk reaction, this squad is good enough to win playoffs but we MUST come second! And realistically we’ll really need to put a really good run together we must start finishing teams off when we have them on the back foot, this is gonna be our downfall we don’t score enough goals, change that we have a good chance

Re: Falkirk Away 23/2

Does Safranko need to be taken off, is he tired? Otherwise, taking off the top scorer in the last few games appears a bit odd, to me, given we don't kill teams off.

To me that looks like Robbie giving Sow game time because he feels he has to.

Strange subbie and wasnt needed at the time.
Sows got a long way to go before he'll start games. That's me being kind.

You'd be singing from a different hymn sheet b&t had Sow had done what he should have done and scored. Then it would have been an inspired substitution. He was close to scoring the vital second goal at both 0-1 and 1-1 on two or three occasions.

But if my auntie had ba's.....

didnt go yesterday as was on an all day bender with the lads.  Im just up and i seem to be releasing gas that is both toxic and may be nuclear.  Seems we need Sow to start hitting the back of the net and finishing chances that we seem to create.  Think he will start Tuesday.

I don't think he'll start on Tuesday.

And going by what everyone is saying about his form and fitness (or lack thereof) it's hard to see when/if he'll ever start.

Been a hugely dissapointing signing so far.

He didn't though. He looked shite. Didn't look fit and didnt have a clue. In fact he looked like bambi on ice. Absolutely wrong substitution.

That's his style tho is it not, looks shite & Bambi on ice?
He's an awkward customer tho and will soon be a fan's favourite when he propels us into the Prem

Re: Falkirk Away 23/2

Keeper at fault big tine for the goal but daft from Pawlett to take Paton down after he had won the drop-ball.

The drop-ball was contentious anyway, Gomis was injured and the ball was kicked out, surely a thrown-in to Falkirk?

I can see what RN is doing with Sow, trying to get him minutes on the pitch in competitive games but he looks a mile off it at the moment and we definitely lost something after Sianfranko went off.  Feel we were disrupted big time by taking Butcher out of midfield when Rachid went off but didn't have any other options really.

Re: Falkirk Away 23/2

Dont think many in our end were happy when he made that subbie. Very strange.

We only have ourselves to blame for yesterday chances to finish them and we dont put them away.  Been the same the past few games no taking our chances.

1710 arabs there some effort

Sow will come good hopefully very soon.

Re: Falkirk Away 23/2

Thought Sow was much better compared to his poor levels in earlier appearances. Pawlett misplaced so many passes yesterday, as did Frans before his injury. Less said about the keeper's error the better, but he also made a few clutches when I expected him to mess up, so some credit there.

PotM for me was Robson, who I know a lot of fans don't tend to rate.

Pawlett should have put is 2 up then we see thw game out if not score another. Agree re keeper thought he done well bar the goal where he made a cunt of it.
Robson cracking run for goal thought he done well.

Wisnae just his style. He just simply was shite. Imo the change affected the game. Safranko stays on longer we were winning that.
