Maybe I've not heard because he's not really part of the first team squad but he's injured and recovering from an ACL injury.

It's to United's credit that again, after a player gets a serious injury, they are sticking by him, for he had, as far as I know, been offered a pay off and was on his way to a League One club

Had wondered why the kid had just completely fallen off the radar and wasn't even featuring for the reserves.
Hope he fully recovers and can have a future at the club. Been a terrible first season for him.

Maybe I'm not in the loop but it was only on here that I learned that Sam Wardrop has a long term serious injury. And meanwhile we've seen comments on the forums about the poor lad being shite cos he can't even get a game for the reserves! COMMUNICATION please DUFC. And whilst at it I've noticed other clubs' websites often have news on players out on loan. We must have 7 or 8 out on loan so any chance of finding out how they're getting on?
