It's stupid as it puts the referee in a position and everybody in the world knows that Gollum is officious and will jump all over it.

However - the st mirren player is equally guilty and should see the same outcome as butcher. What's more, a Millie boy had a similar one where he kicks Ryan jack in the head and only gets a yellow. The inconsistancies we see are a huge driver in supporter unhappiness.

Fwiw I don't mind Gollum- he's equally picky for all teams. If that was a rangers, Aberdeen, united or lo hee harp player it would be the same result.

In the end of the day for me I’ll take Butch getting the odd red as even his presence on the pitch is enough to put the fear into the opposite team. We’ve missed a real battle hardened cunt since he left or Bowman retired. He’ll sit a few out but we knew that was the case but when he does play he’ll no give an inch which is where we have been so poor for so long in terms of letting teams boss us.

Anyone know what Butcher’s suspension will be? Does it only apply to the Scottish Cup or will he miss the Falkirk and QotS games?

Thought we should have had the game buried for half time we were brilliant.

Seaman and Harkes best for me. The whole teams fight has changed in the past 2 games long may it continue.

Support was unreal yesterday.

Agreed that Harkes amd Seaman played well yesterday, nobody did not get pass marks. If that was a few months ago with Frans & Bouhena we would have crumbled at the end and probably be out the cup. Connolly & particulary Reynolds give confidence to the rest of the team. Looks like the best January window since all this window shite started.

I was sat down the front behind the goal next to where the guy had collapsed with my wee lad, after the guy was stretchered away there was a guy going tonto( his mate I presume) trying to get over to the wee dicks.

The police i think had an idea the wee pricks had done something as the guy would have been launched out for the way he was, genuinely think he would have gone ahead with the lot of them himself given the chance.

Fingers crossed the united fan makes a full recovery.
