Bid for Peter Pawlett accepted

According to MK Dons fans we'd be as well getting an extra treatment table in for his arrival.

Heard over the weekend there is a new Head of Youth coming in this week. Didn't hear a name but apparently a done deal.

Re: January transfer window

Been told we’re one of a few clubs after David McMillan on loan from St. Johnstone till the end of the season.

Speaking of they no-marks up the Tay, they’ve let Steven Anderson go on loan to Partick Thistle, exactly the type of experienced no-nonsense centre half we badly need. As opposed to the two we have playing there just now, who are just nonsense.

I mind McKinnon tried to sign him previously.

Re: January transfer window

All the best to Edge as well. Maybe not the greatest centre half we’ve ever had, but he always gave his all when he played, and never seemed to be anything other than a model pro. No ill will towards him whatsoever.

The only thing I can see on Twitter about this is some guy talking about his football manager save...

Re: January transfer window

I'm a bit meh about Pawlett coming.

Mainly because I think we need 2 or 3 different type of players in before him.

Also concerned about his recent injuries, as there's been a few.

As always, I hope to be blown away though and heaping praise on him if he indeed does turn out for Utd.

Re: January transfer window

I see Robbie quoting as saying it might be beyond the weekend before we get some of the changes we seek: "until this weekend’s fixtures a lot of teams are keeping hold of their squads and then we’ll get a lot of movement in Scotland and England."

Are both the Scottish and English windows not 'slamming shut' on Thursday night?

I trust RN to get things right eventually but jeez oh, the 5th league in English football. What has happened to Scottish football when this is the best we can do?

Re: January transfer window

Just read Neilson in the Courier confirming Pawlett interest, and King going to England.
Couple more to follow out the door.

Said still working on a few targets.

I seen this last night also.
I then rear he went off injured recently and was to be out for a few weeks. So no doubt we will throw a deal at him.
