The 9th game of the tournament witnessed victory registered for the 2nd album by the Libertines, also titled 'The Libertines'. It will now progress through to the 2nd Round as a seed as a consequence of said victory. Joining it in Round 2 also (albeit unseeded) will be 'Hats off To The Buskers', the debut album by Scotland's own The View, after it finished as runner-up on this occasion. Eliminated at the first hurdle are 'Hail To The Thief' by Radiohead and 'Panic Prevention' by Jamie T.
