Do we need another midfielder though unless fyvie or Stanton r leaving

It would give us the ability to change formation to 4-4-2 or even 4-5-1 particularly away from home or seeing out a game.
The current 4-2-3-1 only really works if you have quality wide men, we don't.

Re: January transfer window

If it strengthens the squad and hastes the departures of Barton, Rabbit and Loemba then I'm all for it.
When things aren't going your way the manager turns to his bench, it's important to have players sitting there that can come on and make a difference, not just shirt fillers as we have now.

Barton, Loemba, Rabbitch are the obvious ones but are there any more? Robson, Scobbie, The edge, King could also be on the Astro.

Toshney.

What about a firing squad to get rid of them, let's not mess about.

Remember it's people's livelihoods you're talking about, I hope our working environments are not so brutal.
These players were given contracts, what are they meant to do?

They're still getting paid. If they arnt part of first team plans then manager is entitled to tell them to train elsewhere.

What you going on about man?

All I asked was does anyone know the players who Robbie Neilson has told to train away from the first team squad at Gussie as they are nowhere near the first squad!

On the subject of a firing squad as long as Barton or that bombscare Rabbitch are down the shooting the rest will be just fine!

And sue some of them for going under the guise of Football players under the trade discription act. Ps that only a joke not to be taken seriously.

No thanks. Steer clear

That’s brutal, we would be mad to take that on. Big dirty bassa of a Centre forward first before anything.

We get a fit Sow and we win this league outright.

He's that good a player (at this level).

No keen tae jump the gun or get too excited.

He's got his fittness issues and no oor player and might never be but the lad can finish. Maist times he scores the baw hits the lower corners from good distances.

Movement & timing of runs is great and now we are bringing in creative quality to feed him I desperately want a fit Sow.

He is what we really want if fit. The only reasons we might get him is due to that fitness gamble and his Robbie connection.

China issues were bad timing with big spending then foreign player rule that fkd his chances.

Combination of value drops could see us get him.

Re: January transfer window

Harkes doesnae seem to be getting ahead of himself lookin at his interview.
Crackin debut scoring and new player flavour helped him be accepted wi that and his Grandad being an Arab born close tae Tannadice.

Like that he seems humble.

Seems like he is realistic and not after adulation until it is due.

Contrast to young players with talent fae the past is obviously different as I see him to the likes of Scott Fraser types.

Re: January transfer window

Any word on when Loemba, Rabitsch and Barton and getting themselves tae fuck? Can see them being pay-offs as no club would be daft enough to sign any of them (except us obviously).

Re: January transfer window

Expecting a signing or 2 maybe this week coming going on Robbie's interviews and word on the pavey.

4 so far so if we hit 5 or 6 next week I would be thinking it might not be the end of new players coming in as there is plenty time afore the windae shuts and I really feel we will get a last minute ish player in.

Would like us to make a bid. Maybe offer them a couple of players on loan.

Utd have made an official enquiry.

Have a feeling we have enquiries in all over the place. Few will be known.
