WTF is going on? They have had 8 shots at goal to our 1 yet stats say we have 61% possession....
Now 9 shots, 6 on target to our 2.
We've been shite is what - too many failures to single anyone out but I'd be tempted to give the Nesbitt a second half run out...doubt it'll make any difference though

Ayr losing now.

Big 15 minutes this.

Just toiling away all game here, not impressive in the least. I'll take a result any way they come but another poor performance this
Offline
Better team last 15 minutes but on the whole, pretty shit again. I'm away out

Fucking pathetic. We had a massive chance today and we bottled It. Robbie says there’s a lot of Interest In our players.... well get them to fuck.

If we play with a lighter ball he might be able to hit it when shooting. At least he offers something.
Need to get another 5 of 6 in pronto.

So the gap to County is 6.
If Ayr win their game in hand gap to both is 6
We're not out of this yet despite all attempts to finish 3rd.
Over to you Mr Ogren, Mr Asghar and RN

Sounded like he done well.
Hangover from Alloa in first half? (although going by Aird's performance that might have just been a straightforward hangover in his case - worst individual performance I've seen this season).
Better second half and Nesbitt made a difference - will not get many/any goals though.
The most disappointing thing for me is that too many of them look like they think we can just show up and win - work rate and desire just not there.

We were utter shite in the first half, ain o the worst performances yet and that’s saying something. Aird ( who I like and has contributed well this season) was feking awful, and rightly hooked for the new boy Nesbitt at ht.
Improved a fair bit in the second , Nesbitt in particular played well, good movement passing and energy fae him but unfortunately missed two great chances. Though McMullan put in the greatest effort of all, in fact the only one that did in that phuking first half debacle. So he is motm for me.

That first half was horrendous and we were 2nd best.
Totally different 2nd half and we looked much better. Nesbitt looked good and hopefully will improve with game time.
Have just seen the disallowed goal and kt should have stood!
We had several chances in the 2nd to go ahead and never took them. We need to start making these count.
Today was a massive chance to have got closer to Ayr and county and once again we fucked it.

Knew that result or worse was coming as soon as County got beat last night. Our bottle crashes EVERY fucking time.
Needing at least 3 more attackers. Safranko would be much more effective with someone playing off him.
They 3 in behind were fucking woeful, Aird’s a great crosser of the ball, but that’s about it. McMullan can run with the ball but does absolutely fuck all with it. Combine they two and you’d have a great player there, wouldn’t be at United, that’s for sure.
As for thon Smith, a bigger non-entity I’ve never seen. Contributes absolutely fuck all anytime I’ve watched him. As sure as the sun will rise tomorrow, Marty Smith will spend the rest of his career filling the jerseys of Montrose, Brechin, Forfar and the likes, once his time here is mercifully put to an end.
Thon defence needs a fucking shake as well, to be ripped apart with such ease and regularity in the first half by a side bottom of the league is a fucking embarrassment.
We’ve fucked it again, no danger we’re getting up this season. Far too many passengers in that team still.

Agree with 99% there but we are 6 points adrift with plenty games to come. I have a strange feeling about this. Who would have predicted Ayr to lose at home v Falkirk

Agree, but there was never a chance that hun cunt Mdd n was gonna give us it

Aye Bowers, what exactly did Hun Madden see to rule that goal out. Looked absolutely no problem wie it.
And sadly agree about Smith, has contributed virtually nothing when he has played in the first team. Needs punted.

Hope you’re right, but it’s most likely just wishful thinking IMO. Yeah County and Ayr will drop plenty points between now and the end of the season, bet we’ll drop more.
Still too much shite in that squad to see out a league campaign. Bar 3 or 4, the rest are anywhere from mediocre to absolute dogshite.

not many positives today
Siegrists made a couple of excellent saves in the 1st half.
The "attacking" 3 of Aird Smith & Mcmullan were absolutely awful in the 1st half an embarresment to the football profession. 3 or 4 improvement signings or another season at this level awaits.

Well I thought bein the whole oe last night at a New Year perty would cheenge my view oe yesterday, but alas it didn't.
As most fowk have sayed, the 1st half was abysmal. Our marking (or lack of it) was terrible (it cost us the goal). When Thistle got the ball, it took 4 or 5 seconds for any of our players to go near them. It's been like this all Season. Some oe the passin was poor at best. But for a couple oe good saves fae the keeper we coulda been 3 doon beh the half oor mark. Made Thistle look like League Champions as opposed to to bottom oe the League drop-outs.
Dinna ken what Neilson sayed to them at half-time, but we seemed to improve in the 2nd half. Ok we had Nesbitt on and he seemd to hae a bit oe flair aboot him, but he missed 2 sitters. 1st ane, he scuffed it across the goal, the second staright into the arms oe their Keeper, just wasna hard enough. Ye could tell he hasna played a lot lately. However he did get us the Pen turned awa fae the boy, and he was hauled over.
Touchy subject now, that being Fyvie. Dinna ken aboot abody else, but were meh eyes deceiving me? Is he fully fit? Coz he seemed to be awfy slow yesterday, kinda pondering aboot like Shrek, and that seems to have been the case since he come back fae injury.

Fyvie probably had his worst game in a unitef shirt yesterday. Looked way off the mark. He was nowhere near fit and it didnt half show. With Neilson starting him it just goes to show again we have nobody who he can call upon

Was moving at a snails pace and very slow to get back and defend first half I thought.
Also pulled out of a challenge in exactly the same way that got him injurred in the Falkirk game
To be fair to the player and to Robbie I doubt he'd have been on if we had any cover.

Something that grinds my gears, yesterday we got a couple of free kicks in the 2nd half, in Patrick’s half. EVERY other team in the league would send the big lads up and put it right in the box. We take forever, play a short one and start passing it around the back until we either lost it or kicked out the park. What the fuk are they trying to achieve? This is Division Fun not La fukin Liga.
