Twitter rumours from Raith fans say they could be signing Sam Wardrop on loan.

Would be in favour of this give the lad gametime and see see how he gets on as he has done zero in a utd shirt.

As much as we would like 3/4 ‘names’ in (players from the Prem) we should also be looking at young hungry players from leagues below us with the view to developing them.

Definitely a good player but not sure he's got the attitude we need to get out of this league.

I noticed somewhere that the name Aidan Nesbitt has been linked with United, although I am unsure how accurate that is.

I have just seen he has been released by MK Dons.

Aidan Nesbitt. Attacking midfielder. Paisley born. Will be 22 in one month's time. Tho he looks about 12.

Loaned to Thistle. 4 starts (plus 3 sub appearances) no goals

Anyway Robbie will know. Could be he's just needing the right move. If we sign him I'll have full confidence.

5 years ago Nesbitt was the hottest young property in Scottish football.

Was the star of Celtic's youth team that won everything.

But it should be rembered that boys like Sam Wardrop stood out at that level too and some young players sadly just don't fulfill their early promise.

A wee bit disappointed by the lack of activity today tbh. When is the new owner coming to Dundee btw?

The club feels like it is in limbo at the moment.

I don't feel we're in limbo at all. Change, yes. It's only 48 hours in so a bit early to be worrying. In his Q&A Ogren said IIRC he'd be over early in January so I'd expect news on that soon.

I'm more worried re nielsen publicly criticising half the team on saturday and expecting them to do a job this saturday for us. Yes, we ken they are pish but realisticly we should beat thistle at home. Now i fear some of these players may down tools (if selected) at the weekend.

Yes im not looking forward to Saturday as fear this may be the case, but I have a feeling (although probably way off the mark) that the Ogren's maybe flew in to catch the Newcastle game last night before coming up here today to get the ball rolling. i live in hope, but still not expecting any kind of a whole hearted preformance on saturday.

Rather than down tools b&t isn't there a chance that the players react to criticism positively on Saturday & put in a performance for the Head Coach?
I still maintain if Aird's header had gone in there would not have been a problem, a scruffy 2-1 victory at a hard-to-win venue.
Fine margins between success & perceived failure. So yeah, I too wish RN's criticism had been more muted.

I dont know if youngsters think like that nowadays. Prob go in the huff. Time will tell I suppose. Hopefully they do get their fingers out tho. 3 points is a must.

Jak Jules released from Shrewsbury. 21 year old centre half. He was playing for Motherwell a couple of years ago. Thought he was good.

Think it's 'Zak', at least he's a tall lad, but my memory of his time with Motherwell is that he was a liability. Think his last league football was as a replacement for Gavin Gunning at Port Vale for a couple of games. There's a clue in there.
