Great to see this again bud. I was stood in the benched Provy Road end, blootered stood on the wall at the front giving the derry shite for maist of the game and loving it.
Don't think I've seen the footage since being there.
Some support and atmosphere that day. Brilliant day at the futba.

Was in the Provy too, right at the back. Three great goals, Thommo got lucky with his but he showed great technique to get the shot away. Cracking finish from Dodds. Kjell - what a goal.

I was home and away back in those days I can barely remember Joe Miller playing a game for United despite him appearing 24 times according to Wikipedia, the drink must have been flowing.

Funny but go back 54 years & I can remember everything about The Massacre like it was yesterday.

Forgot all about this game. Was in the provie road end. That was my last time at dens before they built the two stands behind the goals.

My Dad and big brother were there, just a little before my time. They were talking about the 2-0 Derby, Billy Dodds and StevenThompson and when United won 3-2 and Lee Willie scored an own goal. I started going to Dens just after.
