He is not my first choice however i feel this is a game we should be starting with 2 up top and going for it.
Clark would be a preferred option but he is injured at the moment sadly.

As bowers says, its a must win.
We need to go on a sustained run now, let's hope the players understand that and are fired up to deliver, whoever starts in Tangerine

Watching on arabzone how the fuck we have only scored 1 so far is beyond me.
A' right but really need to put this to bed...

Did Fyvie look badly injured?
Also did Šafranko get injured?

Fyvie looked to have a calf strain did not look great but he walked off the pitch
Safranko was taken off as he was booked in the Paton redcard headbutt incident and he looked a bit raging after it, good decision by RN.
We should have won that 4 or 5 nil.

Think Safranko got taken of before he got injured, as for Fyvie not sure how bad his injury is, but physio's were allowing him to walk off (allowing to put weight on his foot) which i'm taking heart from. The ref did not offer us any protection from these bunch of hatchet men, fuckin' got away with some horrendous tackles. It was only a matter of time before Fyvie received a real bad one.

I was right infront of the Fyfie tackle when he went off, there was nothing in that challenge. Falkirk had a plan in the second half to stop Fyfie playing and it worked, I think he just had enough and went off as a precaution.

It should have been four or five easy but TBH I thought United were quite brutal, King, McMullen and Aid were abysmal.

Very disappointed in how that ended up 2-1 if im being honest!!
We were totally in control and dominating the entire match. Chance after chance but couldnt score more once again. We won today but these chances really need to start being put in the back of the net or it will hurt is.
Hoping Fyvie was a precaution and nothing much in it.

Tbh i thought Fyvie got his body in a very odd position for that challenge and wasn't surprised he got hurt.
Relieved it wasnt a bad one.
This game showed how badly we need extra options in during the January window - Falkirk are abysmal and we should be burying teams like that (more so when they go down to ten).
At least we got the three points and if we can stay in touch until we recruit there may be better times ahead hopefully.

Just back from sharing some Christmas spirit,(the liquid kind) with a few buddies.
We were by far the better team, Falkirk were poor at best. There were loadsa folk saying at times, that they couldna believe we were playing against 10 men, but to be fair, we musta had more than a dozen attempts with half of them bein on target. But for 3 over the bar, 1 off the bar, and a couple of good stops by the Bairns keeper near the end, but agree with bowers, we shoulda won that by 4 or 5.
There were again periods where we seemed to pass back and forth, between the back 4 and the keeper - it nearly cost us dear on a couple of occasions, where Falkirk players intercepted the passes - 1 where Murdoch passed right into the D in front of the 18 yard line of our box - couldve easily ended in disaster, but for Siegrist save.
Siegrist got a dig in the ribs, and he went doon, just before oor 3rd sub Matty Smith came on. Was obvious no matter how bad the pain was, he had to keep going.
Was it a Pen? Nae idea - didna see it well enough.
A well deserved 3 points, but like bowers a wee bit disappointed we didna capiltalise on the Bairns goin doon to 10 efter Paton got sent aff. However who amongst us wouldna take a 1-0 win for us, for every gehm between now and the end oe the Season. The other results show that Ayry Fairy are'na as invincible as they thought they were.
MOM for me Stanton.
Oe Eh, and in the words oe Paul Simon - the BNBs are now Slip Slidin' Away.
Ho Ho Ho!

Not too distressed we didn't win by more or that we created a stressfull end to the match, happy with 3 points when we had to have them.
Need mair in than quoted.

Definitely right decision on safranko. His game is built on aggression and pressing the opposing defence. He was a bit wary after the unfair booking for the paton incident.
I thought the bookings for Curran and Stanton were also ridiculous. Refs at this level do worry me and they tend to give united no protection against the hammer throwers.
Fyvie seemed in pain. The physio though seemed to indicate it was 50/50 that he might stay on though he looked to be in bad way. I thought Fyvie and Stanton were immense before the injury and absolutely bossing it.
We need 2 up front to blow teams like that away and score more.
Most important - 3 more points

I think you're right about Fyvie's challenge that hurt him & it wasn't a foul on him. At times he's looking a bit brittle going into challenges, makes you kind of wince. If it's 'only' a shin knock I still think it'll mean a longer Xmas break for him.
The pen was for McMullan bringing down the ref but it wasn't in the box
Truthfully Murdoch was a bit statuesque in the box for the pen. Apart from that I thought he & Booth were ok.
Stanton my motm.
2-1 going on 4-0.

Paul Paton's magic
He wears a magic hat
Head butted Safranko
And had to go for that.
