But remember these rumours of American interest started about 2 years ago after Thompson himself flew out there to meet investors.

I'm probably just unecessarily speculating but if/when this takeover is announced the fans deserve total transparency on the matter.

i.e. who are these people? What is their interest in Football/Dundee United? How did the move come about?What are their ambitions for the club?Will they be moving to Scotland and  being 'hands on' etc etc?
 

I am sure I read in the press last week that these Americans are not the same people Thompson was talking to.

Heard this morning a rumour that they're not even Americans. Just based there.

Wish this would just come out. Dragged on forever.

The longer this drags on and the fact we are not hearing much about it makes me wonder if there is any real interest in the club at all.
 

I remember thinking when this was in the press on Friday morning that is was an affy coincidence that this was leaked in the morning that we had our biggest game of the season, possibly a ploy to boost the gate after only just over 4000 turned up for previous home game.

Pat, ,eh son-in-la got a Half-Season Ticket aboot a month and a half ago. They actually gave him a Full Voucher Book, so he's been at some oe the matches in the last few weeks. Dinna ken if they're meant to rip oot some oe the Vouchers, but there ye go.

He only wants back what he put in which I think is fair. We have also cleared all secure loans bar 1 which is the secure loan given to us by Hugh Drummond Duncan that's against tannadice.

I do apologise mate. Was told months ago all had gone through but outside influences and other things delayed the progress of the takeover. I'll make sure in future that I break into the boardroom at tannadice and put these deals through myself
