The forgotten men

Namely Sam Wardrop and Yannick Loemba.

Are they really that bad?

Re: The forgotten men

Wardrop a strange one, I’d heard very good things.

Loemba is utter shite.

Re: The forgotten men

I saw a few good moments from Loemba tbh.

A frustrating player though.

Re: The forgotten men

Thought Loemba had promise. Some exciting moments but very frustrating. Wardrop is a mystery

Re: The forgotten men

Like someone mentions above regarding Wardrop i had heard only good about him.

Loemba isnt the answer for us.

Re: The forgotten men

I personally think Loemba could be an option from the bench. Last time he came off the bench down at Ayr he totally changed the way we played i.e. started being more direct and running at them. We actually bossed the game after he came on.

His final ball is a deep frustration. Though at least he was willing to take a man on. What a winger is supposed to do.

We have zero options for changing a game from the bench.

Craig Curran? Matty Smith?

Not for me.

Re: The forgotten men

I'd give Loemba a run out before King ever pulls on a shirt again, Loemba looks for the ball (it doesn't always come off but he looks to create something) whilst King who covers a lot of grass but is a passenger who is a winger cannot beat a man or cross a ball.

After last night every position should be looked at being refilled, fringe men, youths, forgotten men and cripples should all be considered for the next game, if Barton or Rabbit put in a performance like Fyvie last night they'd be hung out to dry, abysmal performance up there with some of the worst I've seen in a United shirt.

Fyvie didnt look fit and looked overweight for me.

Re: The forgotten men

Totally forgot all about Adam Barton.

You're right though. If he or Rabbitsch were as poor as some last night they'd be slaughtered.

Not saying i rate either btw, cos i don't. But some players get away with dross and others don't.

Re: The forgotten men

Fyvie worst game in a utd shirt last night

What has happened to Clark btw? Injured?

Re: The forgotten men

I don't think Fyvie has been underweight or even a satisfactory weight since he has been with United, he is just a wee borderline fat fucker.

Re: The forgotten men

Billy King is dreadful, offers nothing.

Every single player was dreadful last night so I’m not singling him out. Even on a good day, King offers very little.

Re: The forgotten men

Loemba seems like a luxury player for me, can have a game but will only play well in 1 out of 4 games - although after last night I don't see how he could have been any worse than King or Curran
