Wasn't aware that the club had a plaque dedicated to the players and former players who sadly died in WWI.
Nice touch from the club this.

Think the understated way the club did this was very classy. A nice touch though.

However folk feel about armies and war we really should take a moment to appreciate who was made to serve and died doing it.
My family is quite small in an extended way due mainly to my Granny's 4 brothers being killed for the so called cause whether right or wrong.
Some who survived commit to Queen and country, others hate the decision makers, those with money and in a position of
hierarchy.
Cunts that chant songs for and against should maybe look up their past afore glaiketly chanting songs they think make them a strong fan of their team. Half of Sevconions/Glasgow Rangers and Septic at least would be fkn embarrased to have sung and celebrated what they have if they looked up what their family history was.
Proud that we are the fans of the team we are, were and continue to be without being so fkn shallow, uneducated and biggoted.

Credit to the two guys behind this, the idea, the many, many hours of research and following through to deliver at this particular point.
Plaudits to all who backed them to today’s unveiling also.

Never new anything about this, but warms my heart that the club has done this, and not as a showy publicity stunt like another club that needs no naming.
Hats doffed to those involved.

Aye good stuff from United. Understated and a wee bit of class.
