United last ever chance

Oh wow, I just signed up to go to the Tangerine Terrors event on 17th November at the Whitehall Theatre. Couldn't believe how quickly the tickets were selling, especially as they reduced the prices, lol. Looks a brilliant night out with a chance to meet players and staff from the Hero 1983 league winning team. I got my tickets via the dundee box office website, but i guess it's worth googling to find out how to get them, it was very easy to find.

I've phoned three of my friends already today to let them know how quickly tickets are selling, don't want them to miss out. I've heard legends like Paul Sturrock, David Narey and John Holty are likely to be there. I got the VIP tickets, couldn't believe how cheap they were! I'm planning to get my photo taken with them all. I've heard there is a bar too, whayt a chance for The Arabs to come together.

I also heard it's likely to be the last ever chance to meet the team as no further events are planned. Crazy huh.

I'd like to kick off the pre event chat by asking who is your favourite player from the Hero team of 1983? Mine is Holty, a leader of men and inspiration to all who met him. I can't wait to get a photo with him.

Who's yours?

Re: United last ever chance

You're not by any chance affiliated to the organisers and trying to push the event?

If not, have a great time and I recommend you take a change of pants.

Wow, like wow. If John Holty is going then count me in. If I were you I'd mention it on United Mad too but maybe under a different username---oh wait.

It's not where you're from it's where you're at.

Yes he's my favourite too.

Any Sturrock fans present? Could be the last chance to get a photo with him from what I've been hearing, no further events are planned!! :-(

Re: United last ever chance

How embarrasing would it be if the Legends walked out to anything other than a Full House. I'd like to see a huge ovation as each one walks out, with singing and chanting at full volume.

When you think about it The Fun sold out their Meet Cannigia event, I'm pretty certain that the Shedboys can do much better than that. After all United are the number one team in the city, what better way to prove it than to pack out the venue!

Re: United last ever chance

Yer patter is cringeworthy.

You will put folk off with that style of cheesy chat. Wow, huh? Last chance ever pish.

You put me right aff.

Yer lucky my family and mates talked me into it tonight. You shouldn't try to promote bud, yer totally pish poor bad at relating to the custome yer after.

Ready to turn this gig into a good night though despite your efforts.

Edit to say:-

The fact oor game is aff will help with numbers. Golac night in the Charley was one to remember and something like this is needed but don't try to market this type of thing that way or you will kill it.
