McGregor v Khabib
Fight week.
Conor McGregor's long awaited return to the Octagon will take place in Las Vegas this coming Saturday (5am UK time) when he will face crack Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov for the UFC Light Heavyweight belt.
Nurmagomedov is not only the UFC's first Russian World Champion but also their first muslim World Champion.
Khabib currently also has the longest undefeated streak in Pro MMA with a stunning 26 wins in a row (zero defeats or draws).
This will be a very intriguing clash of styles.

Khabib looks calm, but also like he's being having War's in training (sparring with good stand-up fighters?). Says he thinks McGregor's eyes look 'dead and drunk'.

Used to like McGregor but his last few fights just show how limited he is. If he doesn't knock this guy out in the first round then it looks (from that first interview alone) like he'll be doing his usual of gassing out. The guy has zero stamina. Is it true that he refuses to do any roadwork due to him thinking it'll fuck his knees? Constantly doing fancy running in a pool or out on a bicycle. Nothing can beat a good 25-30 km run for building that. Even fatso Fury is out pounding the pavements. His grappling game is limited too.

Just watched the press conference. Jesus. McGregor is gone. Made a total tit of himself. Looked worried, agitated and downright mental. Downing whisky during fight week? His only hope is early ko. He'll be knackered by round two going by that press conference--did not look well.
