Absolutely fucking bang-on.
And btw McDonald would still be at Tannadice if it wasn't for that idiot.

Absolutely brilliant piece by Mcdonald, it’s exactly how I thought the dressing room would be

That is certainly the way Shambles comes across to the fans.
That is the way i would also describe Mcdonald uninspiring and a let down. Not even a shadow of the player he once was, a candidate for the slowest ever tangerine

Yet he finished our top scorer with 16 goals.
Not sure what that says for the rest of our players or the league.

It says the rest of our squad and the league were terrible.

The standard in our league is abysmal TEK.
Simon murray scored about that amount if i recall. 2 players in the league have already got about 16 goals and were still in September. If there was a poll amongst last years squad to vote for the biggest prick CL or SM i think it would be close

McDonald was always best as a striker: Csaba often seemed to have in in midfield.
Having said that, McDonald himself went looking for the ball at times because of the poor quality of service he was getting. Him and a Safranko type playing as two could have worked very well for us.
The press article perfectly illustrates our present problems: everyone knows 'the manager is bonkers'.
These lines are exactly what many fans and opposition supporters know:
"He’s just uninspiring. It sounds like I’m nailing him here but that’s the best word for him. He just saps the life out of the players and I see it continuing now. That’s the biggest problem at the club. They chose the wrong guy."

Stephen Thompson live on national TV , 08/11/2017 :-
"He's the only one who must offered the job, and so that tells you our choice of Manager. We were in control of the situation, and we got the man we wanted."
"his man-management skills, his tactics, he's a tactician, his work ethic, He's a hard worker. I think a few people might get a surprise".
You're nearly right there Stephen, we all got a surprise.

Nothing about the article surprises, he acts like he’s off the wall during the games so why would Training be any different. McDonald was not the best player we’ve seen but was certainly not the worst. He was also played out of position for me. He’s a poacher six yard box player but we played him as a number 10 midfielder.
I’m really struggling to get any energy to give a shit about Utd at the moment

The bits you have highlighted are the real problem not that McDonald said he was bonkers. Brian Clough was bonkers but he completely energised his players with a very simple but free flowing football ethic. Laszlo confuses the life out of players overburdening them with tactics and trying to get them to play a dour slow paced risk free brand of football.

Scott unhappy that he didn’t get his extra day off from training as promised. My heart bleeds for you Scott.

If it was in your contract quite rightly you’d be pissed off, as fans this is 100% what we see from the players on a weekly basis, the new dressing room of all the new players have turned him too by the looks of it too

McDonald was part of the problem last season

He also has a bit of cheek to say anycunt saps the energy out of folk whether right about Csaba or not. His body language and petulant huffy stuff is full fkn on at a distance. Cannae see him being a successful manager unless he is well funded at a team like Septic. Unlikely.
He wants to emulate Lineker? Fair chance he could do that. Cannae believe that wanker is on the money he is on through tv liscense funding. Fuckwits!

This article tells us what is obvious about csaba. He saps the life out of me as a supporter! Who knows what it would be like having to have training and matches with him every day. That is why Flood eventually blew up and ranted at him on the bench!
What it tells us about McDonald. He probably wishes things went better for him at United. He does care. With a better manager he could have got us promoted without doubt.
McD actually did well for us in play offs with that poachers instinct. It was csaba and the farcical no subs then bringing on Lyng that killed it for us.
I think McD realises he can wind people up but he seems pretty much spot on with how he describes csaba

dinnae like Csaba - but this is spot on. He has been a problems at many clubs. Not a team player and very quick to use covert channels for his own good. Now he is using media to feed his ego. Always that type of personality is to blame others and bring discord.

Agree with this post 100%
Despite McDonald obviously realising early on that Csaba was a havering idiot he at least never threw the towel in unlike others.
Was our best player of the season latterly and of course finished our top scorer (though that wasn't a hard achievement admittedly).
