Same here, just reminds me of growing up in the 80's. Wouldn't necessarily ask for it or know who it actually was at the time, just remember it for when it came on teh radio or playing in the background somewhere.

Sounds about right.
It's ok, he is just at it.

Not really a guilty pleasure per se, as I have no shame in liking it, maybe file it in the underrated catagory.
Video is amazing as well. For every different country the video got shown in there were different missing people pertaining to that country. A lot came back home, also a lot were sadly found dead later and others are still missing to this day.

Yes me too, the song is only a guilty pleasure because a lot of 'music critics' hate it compared to his other work, and the man himself doesnt like to play it live that much.
This song introduced me to him and his other stuff, so for that I am glad, and for whatever anyone else says I still think it's a cracking tune.

With the greatest respect to ALL tunes posted on this threed thus far, there can only be one true Dirty Little Secret song from the young Fooky days..........I reckon The Sands was morphing into Buddies at about the time this came out?
Absolute timeless seduction tune (albeit Old Father Time has well and truly caught up with poor auld Fooky!)
