The main problem once again under Laszlo seems to be our complete lack of goals and or chances created.
Only 19 goals scored in 11 games played (so less than 2 a game). Reminder that so far we have played Alloa THREE times, Arbroath, Elgin, St. Johnstone Colts (7 of our 19 goals have came against the last 2 btw = 36% of our goals).
What worries me is we've played nae cunt yet really (bar Qots away).
Still both Highland teams to play away, Dunfermline away, Morton away. Falkirk away, Partick away etc etc .I see us struggling in all of these games under Laszlo.
19 goals scored against mostly fodder.
Steven Dobbie has already got 20 goals and that was with him registering a rare blank on Saturday.

Tek, there's no cutting edge in our attack. We seem to just knock the ball about hoping for something to open up. Teams are wise to this and just wait for us to give away possession. At home we should be pressing high up the pitch, taking the game to teams but we just don't do this. Was very similar under Ray as well.

Sorted. No score draw on my coupon on Saturday.

Are you agreeing or disagreeing? Or is this just a needless snide reply?

Son-in-law at Pars v Alloa game on Saturday and Pars are similarly affected by this non attacking nonsense. I object to the anti-football types taking over my beloved game. Get back to chess and give us our game back.

Part agreement, part snide RD.
We're not unique tho.
I'm trying to think of a team that are NOT desperate for goals/goalscorers.
Goalless at St Mirren on Friday, yes, even Sellic are affected, Fun canna score in a barrel of fannies, Sheep goal-shy (4 goals in 5 games) there's a dearth of goals everywhere. Apart from Dobbie of the South.

Dobbie wouldn't score many goals for us because we play in such a cautious, pedestrian fashion that we make hardly any chances.
He scores loads for QotS because they play a very open almost cavalier style. Defensively they are pish though.
It's the same reason why Nicky Clark scored loads for Dunfermline but will score less for us (if he ever gets fit that is).

Safranko’ll score goals for us if he starts getting the service, can tell just by watching his movement that he’s a proper good player, works hard, links play up well and gets himself into the right positions. I’ve seen him 3 times and can already say categorically he’s the best striker we’ve had since at least Ciftci.

Clark seemed to spend a lot of time in midfield in the games I've seen him, Curran even further back at times. Safranko looks a good player, he'd clearly look much better with support and service.

That's right: Csaba would have him playing right wing back.

Clark and Safranko are by a distance the best front pairing in the league potentially: if they actually got played in a pairing. If we had a manager who got us playing in a more positive fashion we'd rip that league up, I'm sure of it.

It's not even that imho. He could be right up top and it wouldn't matter because we don't make enough chances. Although Curran and Safranko's misses were criminal on Saturday. Safranko's header was a great save mind you. Should've scored though.
I too am looking forward to seeing more of Safranco cos it does look like we might have a player there.
If he, Clark & Curran can get 35 goals between them we'll not be far away at the end of the season So far they're sitting on three I think.

Curran won't contribute much to that. He's rotten.

Correct, suspected as much when we signed him, and he’s done nothing to dissuade that opinion. Runs about though, so that’ll give him pass marks in some people’s eyes. We’re still a striker short IMO, we need someone to partner Safranko if Clark’s injury keeps him out much longer. Scott McDonald’s still not got a club, wasn’t overly enamoured with him in his time at United, but his goal record was actually very impressive, wonder what he’d be like in a two with a proper striker like Safranko.
On Clark, this achilles problem he has is seemingly an ongoing thing that’s dogged him for years, how the fuck that slips past our medical team is beyond me. The root and branch review obviously didn’t extend to that department.

Och well it's up to Franco & Clark then.
Curran's a niggly CF & is all over the pitch too.
When McDonald left the building the door was slammed shut.

Our "medical team"--better off with Dr Nick from the Simpsons. I've mentioned this before but it's too many times to be bad luck or coincidence. We consistently sign crocks on a regular basis, been going on for years now. We'd probably hand Jack Wilshere a two year contract.
