    Willo (who was long past his best) is still a serious upgrade on Barton

    Bring back the (real) "United Way" not the kiddy-on Martin version

    Along with Wardrop has been one of the biggest disappointments signing wise for me this season.

    Barton however is 27  and while Wardrop might improve with time I suspect Barton will be a collection of misplaced passes and crapped tackles until the end is his career.

    Seriously, how can a guy who's Dad has to persuade him not to quit being a Pro possibly be the answer?

    My big worry is that we have handed out a lot of 2 year deals to boys who have either done nothing in the game or took teams down (Barton, Booth, Curran).

    These guys will be very hard to move on if they are failures.

    Disgusting that really.

    Not the signing itself or even the length of the contract (though early indications are both look abysmal calls), more the absolute 'Carte Blanche' Martin has given Laszlo this Summer. 

    The next Manager will be absolutely hamstrung trying to move on half of this shite and raking through the bones of the squad Laszlo/Luggy have assembled.
