Just fucking attack.

Re: Are we any better than last season?

Bigger and probably stronger (Except for Barton). Probably a bit quicker, but no enough urgency and still playing far too cautiously.

It’s a fucking nonsense playing 1 up top, and having 11 men back at corners against anyone in this league, never mind fucking Alloa. We’re Dundee United, no fucking Airdrie United.

Martin wants to be having a word with him about what is expected of him as soon as he gets back to Dundee tonight.

Not fucking good enough!

This is where I'm at but I'm getting sick to fuck of his system having two holding players who aren't very good footballers in the middle of the park.

That's why it's so fucking fragmented at the moment.  Fyvie should help but I wish hed play just the one holding player or just let his fucking defenders do their job like and push cms further up the park

Re: Are we any better than last season?

We're no better cos we've got the same clown in charge playing the same brand of non attacking football. Safranko looks decent and Clarks got a scoring track record but they'll struggle at Tanny cos they won't get the service.
I'm with RRDH here, lets set a limit on the no. of midfielders to 3 (max) cos all the 5 are doing is passing to each other instead of trying to attack. Lets then have 3 hungry forwards yelling for the ball to be played up to them and lets get the bonus system tied into the no. of goals scored or attempts created

Bring back the (real) "United Way" not the kiddy-on Martin version

Re: Are we any better than last season?

We're just the same as last season. No chance of promotion with Csaba in charge. Playing a sweeper plus a boy who looks like his only talent is fouling folk in central midfield will get us nowhere.

And hoping Fyvie will return to his five game form from last season won't either.

We're presently fucked.

Re: Are we any better than last season?

We are a better team now than we were post Christmas, weaker than we were pre Christmas. A lot of that was down to Fyvie.
For me the weakest part of the team is CM if Fyvie and Stanton can play the majority of games in CM that might just saves Shambles if not 2018-19 will not end well

This is it in a nutshell. Thon Loemba continually gets in positions where he can drive at the opposition or run in behind but chooses to either stop or turn back and play a pass letting the opposition regroup. Its driving me fucking mad.

As for thon Barton and Robson...

Too much commotion

King is exactly the same, I'm sure that has to be their remit from slabber, not to take a gamble, just try and play safe.

I don't know a lot, but I know what I like!

Re: Are we any better than last season?

Simple answer......no. From today’s showing we are no further forward. Maybe better in the player department but the shocking formations etc are not doing us any favours. We hardly threatened today and could/should have lost.

Re: Are we any better than last season?

Our full-backs and centre midfielders are atrocious at the moment and I would say they are the most important positions in regards to how the team plays. Fyvie and Stanton should sort out that midfield issue and Booth needs to take over from Robdon asap because he isnt a footballer. Wardrop - how does Murdoch get into this team ahead of him?

There is no doubt about that B&T but what level of shite are we?
1 mild flatuelence
2 wet pump
3 follow through
4 return flusher
5 sticking to the side of the pan
6 have to nip it and flush half way through

Difficult to select Im going for 4

Re: Are we any better than last season?

Well by 6.

The board has to come to their senses and get rid of Csaba tonight.

Not a single fan I know thinks that he is able as a manager. He's a full blown charlatan who is taking us further down, I'm mystified why Mike Martin doesn't see this. The final biggest error brought to United by ST still hangs around pissing us off, why wait to take the inevitable decision?

Re: Are we any better than last season?

Nope. Still too slow in the build-up with no urgency or actual clue.

Wardrop is pish as well, he would never have been signed if he didn’t have a link to Celtic. A lazy as Fuk signing that has been tried, tested and failed on many an occasion.

Re: Are we any better than last season?

I honestly think if we had a competent manager who put out a team to attack and be positive, the current group of players we have would be adequate to challenge for the title.  Look at ICT and Ross County's squads - do they have that much a better standard of player than we do?  I would argue no, but they are organised, motivated and going out to win games.

Re: Are we any better than last season?

I think Mike Martin knows that when he sacks Csaba, he must then himself resign.
