McAnn sacked, Kenny Miller to take over(cheap option). McAnn is a genius--signs a player manager when his jacket is on a Shoogly peg.

It's not where you're from it's where you're at.

Re: Falkirk

Jim McIntyre and Ian McCall both turn them down.

Nor did i.

I'm not sure that's a step-up for him currently.

Risky move for him considering Morton are doing alright.

He’ll spend a lot less time in the car I guess, other than that...

Got a feeling this one could be make or break for him.

It’s almost like you really don’t like Falkirk.

Re: Falkirk

Going by Morton's statement tonight, Ray has completely fucked them over.

I hope Falkirk go down too.

I got the feeling there had been an illegal approach by Falkirk who then waited till they knew McKinnon, would join them before going through the proper channel of approaching Morton.

If they have suspicions of wrong doings can Morton not ask the SFA or SPFL to investigate this and take appropriate action against Falkirk such as a heavy fine or points deduction.

Exactly how 99% of footballs dealings take place.

There will be no fine or points deduction.

Re: Falkirk

Raymond is featured in a big article in today's Falkirk Herald. Some of the quotes attributed to him surprise me:-

“I have rebuilt teams constantly, everywhere I have been and I am going to have to do it again, probably, at Falkirk."

“I rebuilt Brechin, Raith, Dundee United – twice in a year – and I then rebuilt Morton with four players."

On Darren Taylor:-
“Me and Darren have been friends for 30 years. He has always been in football, scouting. “We got the opportunity to work together at Brechin and Raith and I brought him in full-time at Dundee United to head up recruitment and player liason. “Together we identify and bring in good players and the right types."

On Dundee United:-

“I thoroughly enjoyed it. I took over a very difficult job at a club that had just been relegated and were without a budget. “I put together a very decent squad and was extremely disappointed when I was sacked after losing my second game at home in 18 months.”

So he rebuilt United into a decent squad, twice, without any money, bringing in good players.

It's not really what I remember.

Re: Falkirk

If you count rebuilding us into a team which played football at a snails pace and shat it in away games then yes, he rebuilt us.  Twice.

Too much commotion
