a small score board could be achieved I feel and also adds a screen for advertising giving additional incomes, a standing area could be introduced I feel but whether that is in the ETL or the shed I don't know.
.
Aye,i would prefer that too.
Akin to the one they have at St.Mirren Park.
Could show our score, the other scores, advertising, birthday shout out's etc etc.

Some silly suggestions so far, has anyone got something constructive?

A bookies wouldn't do enough trade. A scoreboard would be expensive, maybe a small one between the ET and George fox.

Just the dead space in corner between the Shed and the George Fox needs tidying up-only really used for storage space for the goals for the J league and the Police buckie thing -which is no fucking use to anybody as a Dundee fan ran on after Fojut scored and tried to assault and he got off with it-so its no use to any cunt.

Some tented covers for the goalmouth areas would be handy to keep the heat in and the frost out
Offline
They had covers over the goalmouth on Saturday morning, that was the problem, the bright sunshine that we had from 9am possibly would've melted the frost instead of bouncing back off the cover.

Nets to be put up for the pre match warm up behind goal. Taken down before teams enter the park for kick off.
scoreboard.. can replace advertisement boards at top tier on East stand and/or front of Jerry Kerr where the railings are

Fair enough Rockstar. Maybe an artificial pitch then or a roof and we can call it Tannadome

What would be the ideal scenario would be a new ground entirely. A lovely big site vacant at the waterfront with plenty of room for car parking. Most importantly it would have more space for the corporate hospitality which is the main revenue stream for the future.

Get this if someone someday from the amalgamated S.F.A decides to play football in Scotland at a better time of year

This is true, maybe the under soil heating is a bit dated, installed in 1985 and like most things of that era like the Stobievultures wardrobe it probably needs modernised. A capillary installation that branches out into the goalmouth areas would be a good idea and not that difficult to execute and implement considering these areas of the pitch usually require an overhaul every summer unlike the Vultures moth bitten antiquated gladrags.

It would upset me as well. Too many memories. Good and bad.
Not saying I wouldn't go anymore but it would be a sore one getting rid of a place you've grown up with and replacing it with a new ground. Most of these new ground are kind of soulless as well.

Absolutely no need to move, Tannadice is big enough, probably always will be, there's plenty parking, plenty hospitality space and its got character. Yeah it ain't perfect but it's our home.

Tannadice is an entirely different place from what it was in the 70s. I used to miss standing in the shed changing ends at half time and transfers to the main stand at half time for 50p. The point being i dont any more. Supporters would always have have fond memories of tannadice. Given the chance im sure ST
would love a new purpose built stadium.

I'd like to see us rebuild the Shed as a two tier stand but do something like Preston NE did and put a health centre and sports injuries clinic in the back of their main stand for public use. The NHS actually subsidised the cost of building the stand.
I'm against us leaving Tannadice now. Our chance has gone of hosting a Euros now due to UEFAs ridiculous size criteria for stadiums.

Why spend the required money on it tho, when there's really not that much wrong with what we have?
Rather keep ploughing the dough into the youth academy and the team.
Ideally the Shed would get done in time, seating up top, standing in the bottom, but not at the expense of the conveyer belt, only once that has produced enough cash to pay for it outright.

Would never want to move from Tannadice for purely sentimental reasons.I also genuinely love our stadium,it has 'character' and feels more intimate than certain other grounds.
I do think we could do with more/better parking facilities but cannae see that happening anytime soon/ever.
