approaching this week.
Laszlo was quoted last week that he wanted in another 2 players. a defender and a creative midfielder.
I would hope we can offload 3/4 this week and not just loan deals.

Keatings, McMullan , Allardice will definitely go on loan.
Maybe even Scobbie and Edjenguele.
If all those go i would hope we get 3 in the door.
1 Centre Half, 2 central midfielders (1 creative).

It would be great to get a marquee signing in.
The sort of signing that provokes another 100 season ticket sales even with home games gone.
With all due respect not any of the 13 signings so far have really eliceted an, 'oh you fucker'.
On twitter that Thomas Eepee is training with us next week.
My first point stands tho...

Hopefully by the end of the week we will have a stronger squad than we do now. Seems straightforward but in the cesspit of the agents world its not easy to do

Martin Woods (ex Ross County, Partick Thistle) midfielder been training with us too seemingly.

Cammy Smith’s apparently been told he can leave St. Mirren. Never had a chance with Andreu ahead of him, but looked good at the Buddies. Might encourage Csaba to play the old 4-2-3-1 again though, so perhaps best avoided.

Stubbs is making a spectacular mess of St Mirren. There's only about 2 or 3 left from last seasons team with another couple on the bench. That's ok if the new players are better than what they had but seemingly they are all pish.

Pleasing.

potentially a busy week for the club then with departures whether it be mutual consent and or loan deals to get rid of some players to bring more in.

I quite like him.
Seems a nice bloke.
Glad he turned us down, mind.

Would anyone take Gomis or Buaben back?

Buaben.
Still only 30. Loved them both of course, but always just preferred Buaben of the two.

Love wee Gomis (one of my favourite ever Utd midfielders infact), but out the two i'd take Buaben also.
Think if we are playing 2 holding midfielders him and Fyvie could compliment each other well.
Adam Barton to cover for DCM and CH.

Ross County linked with Swanson in the Sun today. We can’t let them get a player of that quality in, he’d give them a massive edge in the hunt for promotion.

Aren't they the bookies favourites to win the league. With County having a rich chairman and the parachute payment they got they can probably pay more. For a lot of people that's all that matters.

Scott Allan doesn't seem to be in Celtics plans as he can't even make the bench. Wouldn't mind him on loan but we probably can't afford him and I doubt he'd come to us.

Swanson or allan are game changers, we cannnot let Swanson go to Ross county

Would Danny even come back here though? He hated the medical team, never hid that fact either.

25 mile rule may rule him out, as a thought.

25 mile things isn’t actually compulsory, just get paid more I think

Never knew that, SuperMario. Seems a bit odd, to me.

Fair point.

Swanson was a good player 8 years ago. He's had spells since then of decent performances. I wouldn't go for him. I'd take Scott Allan, but there is no chance of that.
I'd like to see someone that hasn't played for us before. Another Safranco or Loemba who might look keen, who'll not think he has taken a step down.

Apparently we're after a 6'3 Algerian defender by the name of Rachid Bouhenna (once of Doncaster Rovers and currently at MC Alger)
