Wednesday night see's Craig Easton take to the Dug-Out as Dundee United Manager for the night as a (doubtless) youthful Utd side will take on their St.Johnstone counterparts of a similar age-group.
Wonder if any first team players will feature? Keatings, Booth, King, Scobbie etc all need game time.

Got to think Siegrist will play along with Allerdice, Smith, Glass and anyone else who's been on the bench most of the season?

Fae 0-2 down to a last minute minute 3-2 winner. McMullan with 2nd & winner. 1st by Chalmers.

I still think McMullan has something to give if he can knuckle down.
I hope we ain't trying to push him out the door (though i think we are).

Don't like the bastardisation of this tournament for Doncaster and the two-arse-cheeks' own purposes, and it annoys me that on here, in the media and even on the official SPFL site, the fixtures and results talk of 'colt sides' and 'Under21s', when it's the fucking Reserve sides from the top league teams which are taking part.
The official SPFL site has these sides listed as U21 in the results section, and 'Colts' in several of their official reports, including that of the Tannadice game. Cannae track down the rules for the competition on the site though, the link seems to have been removed.

"It is what it is"
but what is it? Doncaster + co are making it up as they go along
I see one of the invited irish teams have gone bust last week,
and have been replaced by another bunch of randoms
Fucking joke

McMullan's 1st goal (our equaliser) was even better, a thing of beauty. The wee back heel from Matty Smith was as cute as get oot.
Zata's commitment was admirable, relishes a 50/50, but the odd slack pass after winning good possession let him down a bit. He'd come on for poor Archie Thomas who got crocked in the first 30 seconds.
SIEGRIST
WARDROP BOLLAN ALLARDICE GRAHAM
THOMAS (ZATA)
McMULLAN GLASS CHALMERS APPERE
SMITH
McMullan moved into a central position sometime during the 2nd half & it was this switch that created the comeback. Well done Eastie.

Been saying for ages the McMullans better played through the centre and is fuck all use wide.
That he played last night suggests we might not want shot of him....why risk an injury if that's the case?
