Well Saturday will see us kick off our league campaign at home to Dunfermline.
Its been a poor preseason/league cup start and i dont think the league will be any better. So what is everyones predictions the 2018/19 season opening game?

we certainly haven’t looked like a fluent side so far.
However there are no good teams in this league. What im saying is that just because were shite does not stop you winning games in this league.

Irrespective of their form and ours we have the Indian sign over them, so I'm going for 3-0 United but fully expect to draw 1 and lose 2 of the next 3 games

Inevitably as Sat gets closer ive swung from the sky has fallen in 3-0 defeat to a 2-1 win for no particular reason than blind optimism at a new season and hope beyond hope we get it right. I certainly wont be going to hope for a 3-0 defeat anyway. 1st league game c'mon united!!

I think it’ll be 1-1.

Csaba will still be making horrendous decisions but we’ll do just enough to get a draw in a not totally inspiring performance.

They might be out for revenge with play offs last season in mind and some of our ex players. United should be up for it after saying the league cup calamity was all building up to this

As said above I’d be looking forward to this a lot more if csaba was out the door

Never been so downbeat about the start of a league season. 2-1 to Dunfermline.

Tough one to call this. I don't see us getting beaten (just because of the impact that would have) but also don't see us winning. A draw likely then, but we need a win. Czaba needs a win. The team need a win.
3-0 Dunfermline.

Apologies for negativity, but what scoreline would see Czaba get his jotters? Was at the 6-1 debacle at Falkirk and surprised he survived that. If we were to lose by 3 or more surely that would be it?

We are playing Dunfermline though - even if there is no improvement on pre-season I doubt we'd ship 3 - fingers crossed.

I've got a horrible thought that El Bak, who couldn't score in a barrel of fannies at The Dump, will thump one in from 35 yards.

Need to come out of the blocks firing on all cylinders.

The preseason talk is now not an excuse for abject performances. We require the 11 on the park to burst themselves for the 90mins. If we get that you’ll have my backing. I’ll forgive defeats if I see you’ve knocked yer pan in for my club.
