Utd v Dunfermline - Sat 4/8/18 (3pm)

What team would you guys play? And formation?

As much as i would like to play 4-4-2 i don't see us as having the players to play that till we get a proper target man in. So....

..............................Rakovan................
Wardrop....Edjenguele....Frans....Robson
.......................Barton....Stanton....
.............McMullan...Glass....Aird.....
................................Clark............

Subs - Siegrist, Watson, Loemba,
      Murdoch, Smith, Keatings, Curran

Re: Utd v Dunfermline - Sat 4/8/18 (3pm)

I've not seen the players this season, and haven't been enthused by the signings, but I wouldn't be too happy to turn up on Saturday to watch the Edge or Murdoch in the starting line up.

Later in the week we'll maybe have a better idea of the team, but I'd prefer also to see Loemba starting than McMullan or Aird, mostly because I already know what they can (and can't) do.

I really think Murdoch is one of his pets and will captain the side.

Re: Utd v Dunfermline - Sat 4/8/18 (3pm)

I'd like to see 4-3-3 with Loemba, Clark and A.N.Other (Smith, Curran, Keatings) up top
Stanton, Barton and Glass in midfield
Frans and 3 others at the back and a keeper
and lets have a proper go. Pars family members say their team is playing well, lets properly test them

Bring back the (real) "United Way" not the kiddy-on Martin version

Re: Utd v Dunfermline - Sat 4/8/18 (3pm)

Loemba isn't fit so shouldn't be considered to start, but knowing our manager i would not be surprised to see him and Fyvie starting on Saturday!

I would go with;

Benji
Wardrop Frans Edge Booth
barton
McMullan Glass Stanton Aird
Clarke

Bench; Rako, Curran, Keatings, Loemba, Robson, Watson, Smith

Curran on bench becuase he's not kicked a ball since Brechin.
Glass on bench, you need to manage younsgters. Tannadice is toxic when it goes wrong and I've an affy feeling its going to go wrong on Saturday.
