Tommy Wright.

If MM actually sacks Wafflepish, and that's a big IF, I reckon he will go with what he's got at the club.
So I expect to see Craig Easton put in charge with Ellis as assistant and if Berger stays then he stays, Scott Robertson would step into Craigs shoes with the reserves and injured players can help him out.

All these boys have already KB'd us at least once
unless they just didn't want to work for baldy ( fair enough), why the fuck would they touch it now?
There's still Yogi of course, who has been loyally turning down loads of job offers for the last 3 years waiting for
his dream chance...

1st choice = Tommy Wright
He has taken St.Johnstone as far as he can. The only way now is down.
He has (bizarrely imo) not been courted by anyone bigger. I think he might now fancy his chances at a bigger club.
He knows that all he would need to do is get Utd out of the Championship and then he might get a proper big move as his c.v. would then be very impressive.
Compo to St.Johnstone might be a problem but maybe the DUSF could help in this aspect by donating their funds that are just sitting there doing nothing.
Donating it for this purpose would help the club no end.
Failing Wright i would take Stuart McCall.
Online!
David Hopkin.

Tommy Wright isn’t going to happen. He’s not stepping down a league and we’re not paying compo.
Ellis - no
Hughes - the scottish Csaba- no
Davies - no
So from the original list it would have to be McCall for me.
There’s plenty of other options out there that are a far better option than Csaba.

MM should put out a survey monkey to all current season tickets holders to see who they would like.
This would give the fans who they want and reduce the heat on the chairman if it all goes tits up

Tin hat on - surprised no on has mentioned Robbie Nielson yet, did well getting Hearts out of this league before delusions of grandeur in league 1, my view as good as the names mentioned.

What about the man in the opposite dug-out from us yesterday? Jim Goodwin.
Has got Alloa promoted into the same division as us whilst playing attacking football with wingers.
They score a lot of goals and i can't imagine he would take any shit or lack of effort from players.
Would probably be a bit of a fear factor with him.

I was down South last week and spent last Saturday at a BBQ with Mrs LAO's cousins who although both Aberdeen supporters one of them has a season ticket for MK Dons. He said that Neilson was a disaster and the team played terrible football culminating in them being relegated after he was sacked. Not a ringing endorsement. Although Craig Levein failed down there too so it's by no means certain he'd be a disaster for us.
Her cousin also said Robbie Muirhead had a good shot on him but was otherwise one of the worst players he'd ever seen, was a lazy bastard and a total arsehole.

It's not a bad shout but we can't take any more gambles. We need to appoint someone who has experience of winning this league or higher prizes. I'd say Wright, Hopkins or Houston although, Yogi makes a good case for himself in interviews - if we can presume he's learned from his Raith disaster.
But with the board bringing Shabba's mate on board i think we're stuck with th current shambles until October at the earliest.

Serious question here. And by no means am i sticking up for Csaba. But why have these cunts downed tools already? If they have, they can all fuck off. Surely to fuck you can't be that bad following a coaches orders? I dont believe this shit about players hating csaba.

I saw Robson holding out his arms in confusion as Csaba was berating him on Saturday. I cant understand his rambling, confusing interviews - can you? It takes him 30 minutes of blabble to say what anyone else would say in 10 seconds. There's been several rumours of Flood taking over the half-time talks last season. Maybe the players are in the same boat - they just don't know what the hell he is on about. Or maybe they know fine, and the tactics simply don't work! Alloa knew we'd put everyone back in our box for corners - so they pushed their defenders right up into our half of the pitch hemming us in. This is Alloa finding us predicable !!!

Whats going on then, to make them sign for us?. There's something fundamentally wrong. Sign for utd then hate your boss straight away? Its not something id be doing. I just dont get it.

I'd guess the behind the scenes issues are still playing out and therefore as MM doesn't appear to be around for the long term his anointment of CL won't be universally agreed.
If MM has allowed CL to sacrifice the LC for League form then presumably he is going to get the Dunfermline and QOS games as a minimum to show the plan is heading in the right direction. He presumably needs at least 4 points from those games. If he is sacked after failing that then there is still close to 3 weeks of the transfer window to allow a replacement to get some new faces in. Perhaps that is why the four new faces promised a week or so ago have not signed. That promise and then non-appearance of the signings has to mean that the Board are not convinced that backing CL with all of the cash available is the way forward.

I seen Robson holding out his arms under McKinnon too.
Maybe he's not much use at following instructions?
I think Csaba's got maybe first 5 games of league and if we're not in cruise control by then, he'll be away.
He's built up the importance of the league campaign that much, telling everyone who will listen that we're not ready yet. So come 4.45 on 4th August, if we aren't sitting P1 W1 then that's when the heat will turn right up.
If we had the choice of gaffer, I'd give it to Hopkin. He's a no fucking about on my watch gaffer, iron fist type which work wonders when the squad is of limited ability. On paper (again) we have a good side, capable of winning the league (with a few more additions) He knows how to get the best out of his players which I don't think Csaba has in his locker.
Re: flood taking team talks, he was also taking training at times last season with Csaba's job being handing stray balls back. Tells me the squad weren't responding to him. Be interesting to see how training is going this season.
