Keeping Martin & Southern on.

Renaming the Shed the Stephen Thompson stand

Disclosing nothing that has financially happened in the last 7 years

Re: Share deal dead

Is this reminiscent of 2002 when Eddie was about to sign the takeover document only for JYM to hit him with a demand of a consultancy salary of £X,000 over X years. Eddie signed nevertheless but was most unhappy. The sort of thing that seemingly goes on.

Not sure but i'm pretty sure we will hear the usual 'nudge nudge wink wink' bullshit leaked in the coming days from both parties.

Whilst not actually ever hearing anything at all factual about why both these deals (the American one and the Gibson one) actually fell through.

As i say i am sick of the whole thing now.

I'll stick with additional payments for promotion and for player sales

Sick of all this fucking pish.

As usual we are left with the 'non-disclosure' line leaving us none the wiser.

There will be those who say 'fans can't expect to know every detail in and about the club' and they are entitled to that opinion.

But see when we have to see our club continually rung through the wringer with decisions like -

- giving McNamara 'sell on fee' commissions on future player transfers or
- sacking Stevie Campbell a man who had helped bring through a Golden generation of kids. Or
- watching our majority shareholder actively trying to buy a club on the other side of the World whilst 'Rome burns'

- to the most recent 'secretive' talks with 'American buyers'. Talks which rumbled on for months and we were assured were 'ongoing' and at 'an advanced stage'.

All of these actions are always cloaked in deep secrecy and under the guise of 'non disclosure' legality. Leaving our support deeply frustrated and thus left to endlessly speculate and draw our own conclusions.

It's all absolute fucking bullshit.

They are playing the support for fools.

Re: Share deal dead

John has now put it out in the open with good words imo

Its now upto ST & MM to let the fanbase know exactly what the fuck is/has going on.

Tbh it doesn't come across as particularly professional.

If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

Well, it fits in with The United Way.

Re: Share deal dead

We need some truth - ball in MM and ST court - MM needs to at least acknowledge the mess.  They can both GTF.

ITK taxi driver suggests clauses included additional payment and NDA on historic payments.

Re: Share deal dead

American deal still on, but is taking longer than Thompson expected, hence why he’s offering United up to other interested parties.

Really? (just a question not a disbeliever) - So where did the two JG and then US 4 (i think thats the case?) fit in?

I just think its either at the witching hour or we are fucked.

Re: Share deal dead

JD - this would fit in retrospect.  This is the witching hour except can we trust ST to play best hand?  He is clearly using other parties to push.  If US not interested they will just walk away.

You really at Uni? - your use of a double negative is very irritating.  So if i believe there is no American deal do i believe in santa?

There was a US consortium.  I think it left the building though - maybe 2 weeks ago.

Re: Share deal dead

Gutted at the news. I just want the snakey rat out of our club.

Stephen Thompson Is not good for the future of DUFC. We are here due to his bad managment picks and player transfer deals.

We should be uniting as 1 and getting him out.

Re: Share deal dead

Has it passed by everyone?

The offer of 500 000 grand was accepted for our football club! Just let that sink in lads. We have paid more for second rate strikers from Ipswich.

Let's face it guys, none of this pish that we only support the 11 on the pitch and are not interested in what happens in the boardroom. I'm not a finiancial expert and don't claim to be like some and I don't know anymore than your average fan however come on to fuck guys 500 000.

To be fair, that’s only for 53% of the club. So the club is valued at just under £1m.

I hope that makes you feel a wee bit better.

Oooooohhhh yeeeeeaaaaaah!!
