Boy on United Mad "200% certain" that ST has sold up. No real details but long time poster there

I guess we have to just sit and wait for some kind of statement to confirm if this is true or a load of horseshit. Hope it is though and we can start to look ahead to a new era.

I hope this is true after the damage he has caused the last few years, leading to the situation the club are in now. Hopefully the future ahead is looking more positive starting with this season.

The same poster was confident that the club would be sold (and therefore St gone) before the end of last season

Doesn't mean the guys wrong but I'm not holding my breath here.

Whether true or otherwise, the person posting the latest rumour, unlike the guys on here, is acting like a fanny. So I'll take the story with a pinch of salt.

I think it would be a boost to season ticket sales if an announcement was made soon (not from me right enough), but my gut feeling is that the situation has stalled for some reason, and I'd guess that reason will be cash.

I'm sick of hearing about it now tbh.

If it happens (and i doubt it will) it happens. Rumbled on for months now. Getting tedious.

Personally i'm more concerned about

1) The man in the Dug-Out
2) The lack of height, strength from middle to front.

There’s a bit of an obsession with height in our support at the minute. Not saying it wouldnt be handy, but it’s yhe lack of quality in the squad, particularly the spine of the side that I’m seeing as the problem, height would be a bonus.

Maybe the squad will prove better than I expect, but I’m really not seeing it yet. We need 4 more and they need to be the best 4 or we’re winning nothing.

It would be interesting to see a list of the players we tried to get but didn't.
Probably quite a lengthy list.
But there's a lot of unemployed cherries out there & it'll be becoming more of an employer's market.

Potential buyer John Gibson, has pulled, out saying unacceptable conditions were being imposed after he thought he had a deal. Doesn’t sound like it’ll be resuscitated. Perhaps current board will buy !
