1st goal was the much maligned Billy Kirkwood in the days before the George Fox boo boys they were just the north terrace boo boys.
Spoiled by the goals from the 81 LCfinal at the end  Hamish was a legend but Billy Thomson would have saved them both

Things you notice. No pointless passing. United forwards willing to run at and take on defences instead of passing the buck laying off to someone else. United defenders closing down their opponents and a team playing from goal to goal instead of side to side. Entertaining and successful. Class
