Saw this for the third time last night. Just find it to be an incredible film with a fascinating plot. Matthew Mcconaughey plays his role surprisingly well, oscar worthy even.
The soundtrack is so cleverly done by Hans Zimmer. I cant imagine how he came up with the idea to use a church organ throughout the soundtrack but it somehow works when contrasted against the silence of space travel.
Dont really understand how Chistopher Nolan is yet to win best director at the Oscars or Globes... between this, Inception, Momento & Dunkirk... all masterpieces in there own right. Interstellar just about my favourite film at this point.

My brother was going on about this film recently saying how bloody good it was.
I'm not really a Sci-Fi man but i think i will check this out nonetheless.

Same here TEK. First time I saw it my wife had it on and was about to tell her to knock it off because I dont do sci-fi. Trust me though, better than you'd ever think.

Its a real marmite movie. When I watched it I was actually asking myself if I'd just watched the best movie I'd ever seen or the worst movie I'd ever seen. I genuinely wasn't sure. It's incredibly well acted and the plot is really layered and complex but it's possibly too complex for it's own good and it moves at a snails pace. There is no threat as such either other than man's extinction which never really feels real or impending. It's science fiction trying really hard to be science fact. Not sure if it works as a movie. Two sittings would be my advice.

I think it's fantastic, great acting and an amazing original plot. No spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen it but any scene with his daughter could bring the toughest of man to tears.
