Scoring record for the 2nd best team in premier is pretty good.
Some of the lads I play 5s with said since the turn of the year, he had 9 goals, mostly coming off the bench

Rooney would be a great signing but he would ask Flood about Lazlo prior to joining and that's where it would end.
will give the two keepers a chance however like last season we are again taking a gamble with the no.1 jersey. cerny or Alexander would have been a solid appointment.
According to Tony Docherty, there's no chance of Rooney coming to Tannadice

Cerny is honking now.
Alexander is an option for player coach. Do a job but past his best IMO.

He's still their best forward imo.
Everyone else they've tried (Goodwillie, May, Stewart, Maynard, Cosgrove etc) hasn't been anywhere as near effective or potent in front of goals.

Still winds me up that we had the opportunity to sign Kamberi in January, but the double glazing salesman though he knew better, and we ended up with Emil Lyng.

Christoph Rabitsch has agreed to a 2 year deal.
Austrian midfielder from Wolfsburger.
The medical checks on Monday and Tuesday should only be formality - then signed the 22-year-old Spittaler the two-year contract with the Scots. "They want to be in the first league. This is also my contract, Thursday is training start, "said the midfielder, who would be the second Carinthian Scotland Legionnaire after David Witteveen! "I'll get some tips from him. In Scotland it works out right, is fully fought ", smiles" Raven ".
His Salzburg manager Thomas Böhm has worked on the deal. "Everything went very fast - my dad said I should pack my bags right away!" Says Rabitsch, who is being hired as one of three legionnaires. "I just thought it was a pity that I did not hear anything from the WAC. I would also like to have stayed! "

It’s all starting to come together now. Glad to see we’re looking mostly outside the boxfor our targets, makes a change from resigning former players all the time. Hoping we offload 2 or 3 to free up room for fresh faces. Edje and Scobbie are obviously on the chopping block, wouldn’t be surprised to see Keatings and McMullan also find new clubs. Never got the impression Laszlo rated McMullan, could be an attitude thing, based on the article he done today.
Still needing a couple of centre halves, a central midfielder (Two preferably), a left sided winger, and a big target man (Not even entertaining thoughts of Rooney, purely because he’ll have options at almost every other team in a scotland, bar the OF)

Im glad we have the majority of new signins signed for pre season starting.
Lets hope they all can do a job.

The Sun has us linked with Tony Watt today. Wouldn’t be against this if he’s grown up a bit. Which he seemed to have, going by his interview with Si Ferry.

Optimistic about the way things are going, just have to keep the fingers crossed that it's not, just another false dawn.

He was training with aberdeen for a number of weeks at the end of last season. Looking v sharp from what I heard. He’d be a great signing.
Rooney 1) is surely a fantasy for us at this stage and 2) isn’t a target man. Ask aberdeen fans - awful in the air with balls played forward.

Signing incoming

Dundee United announce the appointment of Neil Alexander as goalkeeping coach.

Neil Alexander appointed goalie coach, seems a very good appointment! 1 more signing away to get announced also

Should’ve just signed one keeper and had Alexander has player/coach. He was still probably the best keeper in the league last season.

It's Christoph Rabitsch.

2 year deal. He's a 22 year old former Austrian U21 Internationalist who has played with Wolfsburger in Austria most recently.
A defensive type midfielder who describes himself as 'a fighter'.

Really starting to feel positive about this season but it's a hell of a league to get out of. Here's hoping third time lucky.

Not posted in a while and I’m very happy with all the signings, does anyone know though where all the money is coming from ?

Not sure about any of the foreign lads and particular the two keepers however Alexander is a decent addition and a good experienced head at the back.
I wonder if we will see any more punted.
