Season Ticket Brochure

I thought there were no season ticket brochures being sent out any more?

But this was delivered there the now. With a big emphasis on 'The United Way'.

Re: Season Ticket Brochure

Any mention that Csaba’s ditching his turgid style of football and changing to the (old) United Way, otherwise the phrase “the United Way” is just a con

Unfortunately, no.

Csaba isn't mentioned in the brochure (which is actually a fold out leaflet), but the centrepiece is in a big poster style, with an arrow indicating a '25 mile limit' as key to 'The United Way': so that sort of rules me out. You too, it seems!

Re: Season Ticket Brochure

So we are taking a step back in time to the JMcL days which happened to be during an era when most teams were full of 'local' players.  That's right, the rest of football is wrong and we are right.  Even teams in the Lowland and Junior Leagues have players who live more than 25 miles away.  I'm afraid I think it is bollocks and further evidence of a direction of travel to obscurity.

Re: Season Ticket Brochure

I'm all for having a United Way but on something meaningful which doesn't include the 25 mile rule

Re: Season Ticket Brochure

Is this from the same hand that gave us the "the Doner t-shirt?"  I'm sure the four gentlemen will be thrilled to see how he's made them look, I had to decipher their names from the background to make out who they were for definite.

What would have been wrong with a simple picture of the players, maybe one of them in the youth team, and then one in a Scotland top or with a trophy in hand, but no we have to have a primary school attempt at, ken what I'm no really sure what it's trying to portray, what's the significance of the table football, and why are three of the players in black mini skirts, and if it's table football isn't the bottom half the longest bits, somebody thinks they're being artistic and to be fair spending a bit of time on it, which we are paying for, when photaes and copy and paste would in my humbles been more appropriate and more time/cost effective.

If I was Gary Kenneth I'd be F'kn ragin'

I don't know a lot, but I know what I like!

Re: Season Ticket Brochure

I didn't know Garry Kenneth wore lipstick--each to their own and all that. Seriously though, looks crap doesn't it. Who produces this? Part of the media team? Or a separate firm?

It's not where you're from it's where you're at.

Whit? Nobody else got them? A marketing strategy, just for me?

I should feel honoured.

I've not heard of anyone else getting one but surely you can't be alone Pat, exalted as you may be.
Guess the feel-good factor now is higher than it was a month ago & they thought it was time for another tranche?

Re: Season Ticket Brochure

I reckon they, like we all do, regard you as super important and are desperate to have you on board. As an insequential nobody I accept that I am unlikely to receive any such communication. You should view this as United’s equivalent of the honours system.

Re: Season Ticket Brochure

This should have been sent out to everyone on the database 3 month ago not mid june.

Was a poor decision to not send out it didnt have to have all the leaflets like usual just the basic 1 sheet with details.

Its piss poor cost cutting that area and deciding months ago that they would not be sending out season ticket info.

Everyone should have had a leaflet months ago.

Even online has been shite advertising for them.
