It's an employers' market this close season with so many unemployed footballers about (sadly) so we should be able to land some better quality central defenders.

Not Utd related but i see Charlie Telfer has signed for Morton.

Hope he does well (apart from against us of course).

McKinnon showing that he is fuckin' clueless, fair enough Morton are not as big as Dundee United but he deemed Telfer not good enough last year but makes him one of his first signings in a new job.

FWIW I rated Telfer, why he was tossed aside but Flood and Murdoch were given extensions is beyond me.

Liked Telfer and thought he should have been kept

Disagree re Telfer - he and the type of game he played was one of the reasons we declined so spectacularly. Happy as Larry when he was eventually punted and happy that he is playing for one of our rivals next year, along with his manager As long as they stick to the same drivel they served up here we should be up for more points against them providing Csaba doesn't stick to the similar drivel he served up last year. Agree re Flood and Murdoch.

And he has played a lot of games, last season, but not a lot in his career before that point.
