Was assured last night (source the aeroplane man) that Fraser Aird is signing for us.
Also told the alleged wage difference between Clark's Dunfermline offer and ours, but that's not for the internet. In any case, I argued that the two year deal Clark was offered at Tannadice was better than one year at East End.

Don’t matter now, apparently he’s signing for Luton.

Dunfermline fan that works with my brother said that at a DAFC q&a night they confirmed Aird was signing for us once he was back from Holiday.

Decent signing (for the division) and gives us cover/options at LB

Csaba's signed him as a right back
On a serious note, Booth's had three injuries in the season just past, one keeping him out for most of the season until January.

Dont know much about Callum Booth.
I'm just confused that we are making these signings in lieu of a pending takeover. In my opinion, that's either because there is no takeover and rumour is a pile of steaming shit OR some soft investment that leaves Martin/Thompson at the helm.
Maybe being naive but my understanding is that signing policy typically calls for a freeze during takeover talks. To me, its clear nothings going to change from the manager (actually ok with giving him time) to the board room. This sort of activity supports that (IMO).
Happy to be educated, no expert on this sort of thing but im gonna put the "takeover" to bed at least in my mind.

Craig Sibbald signs for Livi

No sure how often Callum Booth got to take free kicks but he did fine here wi the 1st goal in the clip...
Don't know much about him. Thistle fans seemed to rate him and Lawless reading their forum.

Most interesting thing in the interview for me was that they start pre-season in about 15 days. Gonna struggle for a 5-side game at the moment

If Nicky Clark has really signed for Utd for less money than he was offered at Dunfermline then fairplay to him.
Shows a good desire to play for us.

No, Tek, the claim was he is getting £x more per week to come to United, but my point was that he was possibly was more swayed by the two year deal. The Pars were only offering one year.

Ahhh.
Probably a bit of both.

The United medical team right on top of it. I'm sure he won't spend a minute on the treatment table

Reminds of;
I said to the doctor, 'It hurts when I do this' [raises arm]. He said, 'Well, don't do it.'
