Look at this knock down for our goal. We took this for granted at the time.

As would I, what a player he was. I always knew he was good, but it’s not until the last few years that you realise just how brilliant he was, his positioning and ability to bring others into play was as good as anyone we’ve ever had at Tannadice.
Watching him in Dillon’s testimonial, he’s put on a bit, but he’d still be head and shoulders above diddies like Mikkelsen.
One of our greatest players of the post 80’s era.

His looping header at the back post in the semi-final against Celtic was something special.
The stick he got off some sections of our support was so unjustified. Some people just didn’t know how good we had it with boys like Daly in the team. What a fucking player he was.

One of my favourite ever Utd goals. Absolute pin-point accuracy. The ball seemed to almost loop into the net in slow motion.
His header that hit the woodwork in extra time for what would have been his hat-trick that day. That went in we would have seen the game out imo.
His link up play for GMS's goal where he does the 1-2 with Gauld. Outstanding also.

To be fair Brian Graham was a hell of a lot better than some of the shite we’ve had to endure recently.
He was a bottom-half of the SPL level player, and we were one of the top sides in the country at the time, with perhaps the best collection of players in this era outside of the Old Firm and maybe the Hibs team of the mid 00’s.
He was no worse that Goodie was that year.

Graham suffered the same fate as a host of strikers in the last 4 years - starved of service whilst the midfield played tippy tappy stuff before losing possession without going anywhere near the penalty box. I don't know how good he was or could have been as he didn't get many games and didn't get any service in the games he did play. Why any striker worth his salt would want to come to Tannadice is beyond me - its a graveyard for strikers the way we play

Not disputing our sideways style hasn’t been painful the past few years but think you are being generous to Graham and his shortfalls.
He played in the same team as ciftci who had no problems finding the net.
He was also around at the same time everyone else was scoring for fun.
He is decent top championship bottom spl level, but for what we wanted at the time he wasn’t good enough and that was to do with his ability, not the teams.
If we were to play more direct I would have him back at this level as he is proven

Ill never hear a good word said about Graham. Barely a footballer. Tried to blame his missed chances on boys like Gauld and Robertson even though they often put it on a plate for him. Total prick.

The Celtic one still makes me shudder.
However, at one point (perhaps before things went really wrong) he had a near identical goals/minutes ratio as ciftci due to him coming off the bench a lot whereas ciftci was starting a lot

If were raiding County i would prefer to sign Alex Schalk , who is now out of contrct, 5th highest goalscorer in the Prem last season , and has a decent assist count.

He's the only player from County i'd take.
There's a reason they're letting Craig Curran go.

Craig Curran was reported to have been offered a new contract by Ross County over a week ago. If true, he must have turned the chance down.
He's a mobile player, but not a big guy, and as I've posted before, he had a serious injury a couple of years ago.

Yes
and Yes.
We need to get on the ball this week.
We currently have a squad of 15 and that includes 3 longterm injured players (Mehmet, Fyvie and Toshney) and a rookie keeper in Josh Donaldson.
We need players in. And a lot of them.

Fraser Aird's contract is up on 31st of May so we might see him sign at the end of the week. Same date contract ends for Craig Curran but reaction initailly fae some isn't great.
Hope we have some under the radar that will excite the support.
