Sibbald is very inconsistent, and doesn't score many for an attacking midfielder. His team were eighth in a poor league.

But most of the names listed aren't impressing me, I hope we get better than Cammy Bell, Mark Russell or Kevin McHattie, and although Craig Curran was a decent forward, he's been badly injured for a large part of his career (so the sort of player our medical team will recommend!!!!).

With this being the end of the loyalty period for season tickets, I thought some sort of positive signing (or dare I say takeover) news would have come out of Tannadice, but no.

I like Mehmet but no way should he get a contract when he won't be fit till christmas time.

Agree with this also. Surely be others available who are up to compete for no1 from the start.

If he's out long term can only assume on a very low basic and we'll be bringing in a loan signing for 1St half of season

He proved that at this level he is a more than decent back up keeper.
In this era of short term contracts, where recruitment is everything we dont want a reputation as a club who will turn their back on players injured in the line of duty

Does the fact we have only signed two 'known' players so far have any connection with the fact that Csaba might be leaving if this mystical takeover happens? Or am I just being hopeful??

I'd like to think so. But it's more likely that any targets aren't yet out of contract (end of the month) so we can't actually make any announcements or signings.

would it maybe have something to do with the expiration dates of contracts and announcements usually being made after that date - still hope its down to Csaba leaving

It may have something to do with the board waiting to see how many season tickets are sold by the end of the loyalty period.
There may be a a significant number of im not going coz we are not as good as we used to be fans.

They must be looking at some of the random lists from here, surely?

Craig Curran was out with a serious head knock for a very long period recently, another huge risk to take for any club. He's also only scored one goal this year, which isn't good for a striker.And is another wee bloke.

Gardyne signed a 1 yr extension at County and I believe they are after Vigurs too.

Read Murray is looking to establish himself at Hibs again but that was in the paper so who knows.

Vigurs signed for County mate.

Glad neither him or Gardyne will be adorning tangerine next season, personally.

Reckon Shaun Byrne will stay at Livi.

Craig Curran ? Massively underwhelming signing if true.

Only forward from County i would take is Alex Shalk.

I'd hope sturrock would be using some of his english contacts to get players here. Some of the players we are being linked wie deary me.

Obviously waiting on the takeover before we can get neymar and messi in .
