dundee utd v livi 7/5/18

massive game Monday night. 1st leg at home I think we really need to take a 2 goal lead down to them to go through

hopefully the home end is packed on Monday night also and we get a win

Re: dundee utd v livi 7/5/18

I’m assuming Deniz is out. Flood is on a yellow and I have a feeling we want him in second leg. In first leg we need to attack and match them physically.

Would be nice to have a 442 with Mikk and McD up top but we won’t start like that.

Lewis
Ralston Mohsni Murdoch Robson
Gillespie Stanton
McMullan Fraser King
Mikkelsen

Smith & McD to come on

Let’s try and give Livi a good beating and then take a big crowd down to their place

Re: dundee utd v livi 7/5/18

Not King and McMullan in the same team - far too light weight. (Can't think of many times the KIng/McMullan combo has actually worked).
Yes to Mikkelsen and McDonald up front with a (one) winger.
Yes to Durnan replacing Robson in defence

Bring back the (real) "United Way" not the kiddy-on Martin version

I think you are maybe right regarding King and McMullen. Especially against teams like Dunfermline and Livy who have a lot of fight in the midfield.

King was't great but drew 2/3/4 constantly to nullify him, crossed well fae the corner we scored the 1st fae. No sure what McMullen's best position is but need mair fight in the mid without risking daft fouls and bookings.

Ken somethin. After our performance of the final 35 mins on Friday, I have some belief. Of coorse we'd need to win by 2 or 3 clear goals or so the moarn, sp Friday would take care of itself.

I think we 100% need to take a 2 goal lead to them on Friday and still score to go through.

Re: dundee utd v livi 7/5/18

Been thinking about this gehm all last night and this morning. Nerves and anticipation kicking in now.

Play like the latter part of the Pars match and we can take a good lead through there. In fact play like that and seriously begining to think we can still go up. Depends which United turns up for these vital matches. Hope Willo can wind them all up into an impressive team performance again and FFS Shabba 2 up front wie Big Tam on fae the start aye !

This is our fourth game in nine days, and Livingston have will be on their second.

I expect it to be cagey, remembering our match at this stage v Falkirk last season.

Brainless substitution, Lyng for King.
