Sack him now

Get rid now to give us any hope of promotion, tonight I’ve lost absolutely all faith in him at all, absolutely fucking disgraceful display from csaba!

Why on fucking earth did fraser play the full game on the wing, mikelsen should have been off at half time with McMullan coming on to play on the right with Mcdonald and fraser through the middle, then for him to bring on lyng Just shows he’s not got a fucking scooby, get this season to fuck along wee him

Re: Sack him now

I lost all faith in him back in January.

For them to go down to 10 men with half an hour left and him to bring on Lyng as the answer .....mindblowing!

I've took a real dislike to him. His interviews are just nonsensical.

Cannot wait till the day he is no longer at Tannadice.

Re: Sack him now

regardless what happens in the play offs he has to go. At the start of the 2nd half it was clear we were getting overun in central midfield . Shambles did nothing about it. Bring Stanton on pull Fraser more central pull Mcdonald deeper for 10mins to stem tje flow . the sending of saved him.

Re: Sack him now

Folk were 'blowing smoke up Csaba's arse' in early January.

If it's the case that Mike Martin is staying with him, we'd as well not going on Friday.

Re: Sack him now

Bringing on Lyng was a total fucking blow he is horrific

Mcmullen should have been brought on as soon as they went down to 10 men

I’ve been  following United for 55 years now. They will always be my team but if Csaba’s there next season playing the same turgid stuff then I won’t be going to games. It’s taken a wee while but I’m gonna be a fair weather supporter.

Re: Sack him now

Mike Martin said he will be here next season, no matter what. He also said he will be in charge of the entire youth structure. When asked what his recent record was bringing through young laddies, he didn't know....

Incompetent doesn’t come close.  Our new chairman, just as irresponsible as the last one.  Least he’s got his rental on Gussie right enough.

C'mon, you didnt expect Mike Martin to be a shining knight did you? He should have been shouted down as soon as he got the job. Alas we dont seem to bother.

Re: Sack him now

The thing is, the folk with money and power always ignore or at best pay lip service to the people who don't. We're the supporters (the people who don't), Martin and Thompson before him have the money and power.

Over the past year or so, four times I've spoken with various directors about concerns, they appear to have listened sympathetically, and then continued on the downward, destructive path.

Recent emails have been ignored.

I'm not, for the first time since the 'seventies, getting a season ticket  for 2018-19.

"In this last six months we have had a lot of changes and I think the club as a whole is moving in a good direction.

Csaba, exactly six months ago (4/11/17), we drew level with St Mirren at the top of the table, beating them at Tannadice. I wonder where you think we've moved 'in a good direction' since then?

Just seen on Twitter that we are apparently ahead of last seasons season ticket sales. Good news. We're obviously doing very well and fans (apart from me) clearly have confidence in the general direction of the club.

He did, yes.

'Judge me on my actions' said Mr Martin.

Actions thus far? = paid off the double glazing salesman (for Christ knows how much?).

Inspired stuff.

Provided these stats before (new update)
Csaba's win rate is 43% Rays when we sacked him for being totally useless was 67% (52% for season 16-17)
Csaba's lose rate is 33%. Rays was 22%
Rays win rate is exaggerated as it includes winning 7 out of 8 league cup and Irn Bru Cup ties - for League Games only Rays win rate was 50%

Given Ray wins more games and loses less than Csaba, it would make far more sense to get Ray back. We could always try something different - hows about appointing a decent manager for a change

That would be a great start.

I can really see a huge drop in numbers at games next season if he is still manager.
If Mike Martin is backing him the only thing we can hope for is fan pressure on the manager to resign

Re: Sack him now

I hope MM is playing the political game and backing the manager publicly so as not to undermine him. The language he uses is worrying though. Talk of plans for next season and that CL is "good for Dundee United"

Either that or MM knows he won't be around so it doesn't really matter what he says.
