Quite simple but smart.
don't get bothered by our kit like some do, but I like that
Online!
Home kit should be similar, in tangerine with black shorts?
Offline
I like that.

Is the quality a bit suspect? Looks like shine through from shorts...
Maybe same as last year's but being black you didn't get the same effect?

Oooh er, missus......
Aye, a simple design is better. Although I don't really bother about football jerseys any more, that home kit this season is one of the worst in the world of football I have seen.

Aye this years and last years home kit have been dire.
I really hope we go back to black shorts next season too. I know our original tangerine strip was all tangerine but I just think it looks so much better with black shorts!
It's cunt$ to fill them we need.
But yeah, very clean looking.

they have recently uploaded more images of the shirt..
The back of it looks terrible with the 2 sponsors and the #DUFC ruining what was a nice and simple shirt.

The norman jamieson on it looks cheap. Not knocking them sponsoring just the lettering looks cheap.

No build-up or anything from our media team i noticed. They really aren't very good at even basic P.R. or marketing.
For the home strip launch they are missing a trick if they are not down at the riverside beside the V+A etc.
Try and embrace the positivity felt about it's imminent opening.

Being a museum of design, you would hope it looks better than that brown armed looking thing from last year, to the question who picks the strip? maybe this is the answer @joerice74 Responsible for media and marketing @dundeeunitedfc

The #DUFC is a bit cringe, if it was without the # and in the font the DUFC used to be on the 70's kits it would have looked nicer. Not a terrible kit otherwise.
Also I hope we are back to black shorts for the Home kit next season.

At £50 for the top it is (as per) a total rip-off however.
Essentially paying another 4o quid for a Utd badge and Utilitia logo.

Bloody hell. Less than a tenner. Thats actual ripping fans right off. I knew these tops were cheap but not that cheap. Thats some mark up.

Yeah and remember that's the retail price that the public are paying.
That won't be the trade price that Utd are paying Nike or Just Sports or whoever. It'll be even less per top.
I know our club are not alone in this btw, but it really is a bit of a scam.

Son-in-la was in India last year we his work. He had a company driver we him the whole time he was there. When they got speaking aboot futba, his driver was able to drive him straight to an Adidas factory where they manufacturer English Premiership futba shirts. Basically 1000 rupees for any tap. Complete with Club badges, sponsorship logos, Premiership badge etc. Dinna ken exactly what that works oot as.

Thing is, pretty much every football club in world football is wearing one of these template shirts that you can for much cheaper without the badge etc.
