Although hardly scientifically tested, some of the statistics above are a wee bit surprising (to me). The 'Overall' section on the right covers all Dundee United fixtures, so we've won 52% and lost 30%.
In a nutshell, I knew Quinn and Scobbie had struggled this season for the most part, and Captain Flood too, in my eyes, but for the slating Robson gets, he has been involved in an above average win rate (slightly), while Scott Fraser, in this exercise, has been our best performer, by far this season. While the club has lost 14 matches, only two of these defeats have come when Fraser started.
But the player who stood out as surprisingly poor is our top scorer, Scott McDonald: of the 14 games he hasn't started, we've only lost two.

Interesting Pat,
Hard to believe that we do better with Robson in the side given his poor form (IMO) this season. No surprises to me re Scobbie Flood Quinn & McDonald

Also our actual League win rate is (just under) 49% i.e 17 wins in 35 games which is a very poor return given we are by far the biggest spending team in the league and we've been beaten by everyone bar Brechin and Dunfermline. Wonder if anyone at Tannadice has worked out that we should be doing a lot better and would be if we ditched the tactics played by Ray & Csaba

Of course, you are correct about Robson's poor form, he's been a big part of our failures this season. But I don't blame him to the same degree as our experienced professionals, who have in the most part been an absolute waste of our meagre resources this season.

Interesting to see those figures, especially Robson and Fraser stats.
Also the poor McDonald percentages. He has had a lot of very poor performances over the season but has been better of late. If he bangs the goals in over the next four matches ( ha ) all will be forgiven.
