Sad news, what a horrible thing to happen. RIP young Arab sleep tight

Tragic news, hits a little bit harder with it being one of our own, a young boy who’s experienced the same highs and lows following United as we all have. Hopefully the club pays their respects on Saturday with a minute’s silence and maybe black armbands to remember him.
RIP Liam.

Well said JD.
Obviously we can't honour all Arabs who pass away but thousands have worried and contributed to the effort to find Liam and help his family and friends whilst sharing concern.
Some will think it's better for closure but the pain will be worse for those close to him so I think the club must do what you suggest as anything in this way is better than nothing.
Please honour him DUFC.
RIP Liam.

Been following this tragic story hoping against hope this lad would finally be found safe and well. Always feared he was in the river. Tragic incident in one of my favourite cities.
Thoughts are with his family and hopefully time can heal these tragic wounds.
RIP Liam
R.I.P. Liam Colgan.
The poor lad at St Andrews Uni is still missing as well, his picture's in all the shop windows over there.
Just tragic.

I noticed on one of the posts on the "Finding Liam Colgan" Facebook page that he was the lead singer of a band.
What about blasting out one of his tunes as the teams come out on Saturday? Would be a classy touch by the club.
Maybe someone could suggest this to our esteemed head of media on twitter, that's if he's not more interested in making condescending little remarks to the boys who keep him in a job.

I really like that idea.
Would be a really nice tribute to the lad.

Utd are paying tribute to Liam later today by broadcasting his picture on the screen on the 29th minute (his age = 29).
His parents and brothers will be in attendance today.
Well done Utd. This is more like it from my club.
