I've been totally taken aback by just how poor he's looked any time he's been in a United shirt. When we signed him at the end of last season, I was sure we'd found the guy who was going to fire us out of this division, just going by what fans of his previous clubs were saying.
I definitely got the impression pretty early on that something wasn't right and that he was regretting making the move to come here. His body language every time he played was that of someone who just didn't want be here. I put it down to McKinnon rushing him back from injury, maybe playing out of position, or us not setting up to get the best out of him.
Hopefully he gets all the support he needs to get better, and finds among other things, his desire to play football again, that might be with us, or maybe he feels he needs a clean break elsewhere.

Good comments, JerryDungle. I reckon he has a wand of a left foot, but over and above his injuries, and family issues, suffering from depression must have made the last year overwhelming for the lad.

Yeah I wish the lad well for the future, whatever team he is with.

Know only too well how this illness can affect folk. Somedy very close to me suffered from depression a few years ago. Hope the lad makes a full recovery.
