Leaving Arsenal at the end of the season after 22 years managing them. The same amount of time Wee Jim managed us.
Probably the correct decision but feels like the end of an era in someway's for British football.
Can't see that length of service and loyalty ever being replicated again at a pro UK club side.

Hope he gets emotional send off he deserves always likes him comes across as a nice guy who loves football to be played correct way

Great manager who about 10-12 years ago lost sight of what made his teams successful in the first place: a mixture of tidy footballers with players who had real pace, aggression and power. He just seems to have teams full of floaty, soft as shite but still tidy footballers in more recent years but who lack the pace and power and drive of Henry, Viera, Petit, Overmars, Pires Campbell et al.
