Brechin City v DUFC ~ Tuesday 17/4/18 (7.45pm)

Brechin haven't won a game all season. We can't....can we?

Comfortable win needed infront of a (doubtless) healthy away support.

Team the same as Saturday for me but Durnan back in for Murdoch (or move Murdoch to LB if Robson injured).

Just looked at Brechin's recent results.

Only 1 goal scored in their past 10 matches.

The interviews are unlistenable (to me), and not just due to Csaba's rambling. I lasted about 40 seconds.

The sound quality is dreadful, if it's students who are producing these, a 'fail' is in order.

On a personal and professional level, James Keatings has had a horrendous 12 months, got to feel for the guy.

Lesser clubs produce highlight packages etc that put United to shame.

First half: abysmal

Second half: wowowow, mcdonald changed the game completely, however we got a massive let off when they hit the post but after that one way traffic, seriously seriously good performance in last 40, McDonald’s second is one of goals of the season really good passing move and great ball by ralston, who was excellent again, and exceptional finish by Mcdonald, if it wasn’t for brechins goalie that could have been double figures tbh, mosh again stroller through the game he’s so comfortable however I do feel he is getting to confident so maybe a wee word to say keep it simple like you’ve been doing big man, when king is on his game he’s virtually unplayable in this league very very good dribbler, tam put himself about again, Stanton so energetic and also a very good dribbler, this is now where I’m gonna be very critical, McMullan seems like I’m picking on the wee man but he’s struggling and tbh I think he’s chucked it, STAY OUT WIDE AND RUN PAST PLAYERS, apart from that happy wee the second half

Re: Brechin City v DUFC ~ Tuesday 17/4/18 (7.45pm)

First half terrible. One paced shite, made Brechin look good.

Second half, after they'd hit the post then the ball ran along the line, we were as good as I've seen us since we got relegated. Everything seemed to go through McDonald and King. King looked like he'd taken something at half time!

Thoroughly enjoyed that. First time I've said that for about 3 years!

Fair summary SM. Fraser's free kick was a crackin effort too.

Re: Brechin City v DUFC ~ Tuesday 17/4/18 (7.45pm)

I think the last time we scored 5 away fae home in a league match was when we beat st Johnstone 1-5 and GMS did his mad trick.

Edit to say -  that was on 11th of Feb 2012.

Re: Brechin City v DUFC ~ Tuesday 17/4/18 (7.45pm)

Very good 2nd half by the sounds of things.

That is more like it DUFC. Much more like it.

I had had it for the season tbh after the Dumbarton away and seen no way whatsoever that we would make it through the play-off's. Credit where it is due though. 3 deserved wins since then and 3 clean sheets also.

On to Saturday now and another must win game. But we have a very good record at Palmerston and should go there with hopefully a degree of confidence about us that we can get the win again.

Re: Brechin City v DUFC ~ Tuesday 17/4/18 (7.45pm)

Apparently the last time we won a league game by 5 goals was November 1997 versus Aberdeen at Tannadice.

Cannae quite believe that.

Christ knows when our last AWAY league win by 5 was.

I know we won up at Inverness about 3 or 4 years back (in the Scottish).
